  • My friend was just having some problems with his leg. He had some place he HAD to be quickly but didn't feel safe driving himself. He'll be okay.

Thank you so much for Gengar. (Haunter evolved as soon as he arrived in my DS.)
No it's my fault. My apologies!
I was expecting to be around and a friend asked a favor that needed to be done like NOW.

    I can trade any time.
    I'm trading out a timid female Zora with 31 / x / 31 / 31 / x / 31.
    Will she help you?
Sorry the last sentence was supposed to be
Just keep looking for the IVs you want.

    Don't know why I can't edit
    That's a random O IV.
    It happens.
The one time you may want a 0 IV is if you were planning a trick room team. Then you would want the 0 in speed.
If you read the suggested move sets on Smogon every once is awhile someone will say have a 0 in attack so the Pokemon doesn't hurt itself as much if it gets confused or the opposition uses Swagger.

    You aren't doing anything wrong.
    Just keep looking for the
    I don't think you've done anything wrong.

Your starting with a 5 and 3 or 4 IV Pokémon for parents.
That means you have to get 2 or 3 perfect IVs randomly.
Instead of 1 or 2 if one of the parents had 6 perfect IVs.
Remember that even with Destiny Knot one of the IVs will be random.

I would say hang in there but you have to decide if it's worth it.
Yes the PC stops the timer on Pokérus.

Yeah that's about it waiting for a random speed with the other IVs you want.
The only thing in Pokémon that tests my patience more than competitive breeding is shiny hunting.
There have been times it has taken me several days to get the Pokémon I wanted. I was starting with at least 1 parent that had 6 31 IVs

    Hang in there
    No problem!
    You're very welcome!
Keep me updated on progress or if you have more questions.
Those are the same 31 IV stats as the male I traded to you.
Why don't you give it the Everstone and put it in for your male.
Give the female with the 3 perfect IVs the Destiny Knot and put her in for the female.

Then you just have to keep checking.
    When you get a one that's 31/x/31/31/31/31
You're there but it may take a bit.

If you get a female with 4 perfect IVs start using her especially if one of those is speed.
I have a few things to take care of today and will be around again in a few hours.
    Yes exactly.
Give her the Everstone and put her in Daycare with the male.
Then start taking ALL of the offspring to the Judge.
    Were there any females?
If so what does the Judge say about them?
If not hit the power button to close the game.
    Re-open the game.
    Refuse the egg.
    Save
No it doesn't matter for this.
Do you have a Talonflame or someone else with flame body?
    Give the female the Everstone.
Give the male I traded you the Destiny Knot.
    Put them Day Care.
Keep going until you get a Timid female with some perfect IV
    No worries!
You need to use the Destiny Knot to get as many 31 IVs from the the 2 parents as possible but it doesn't matter WHICH parent holds it. The lower IV parent can hold it and it will still work.

The Everstone passes the Nature of the Pokemon that is holding it. So the Timid natured parent has to hold it to get a Timid.
Do you have a Timid female (I know her IVs aren't great)?
