  • Mystery gifts certainly aren't priority things for me, but it does sound interesting :p Ive got this big map I've drawn up on 6 A4 pages on my wall of my region :o xD its quite amusing to do actually, I'm planning out cities and routes and things. It's to help me focus on what to do next.
    Anyways...1:40am got a test at 11am, probably should sleep -_-; Got my boyfriend sleeping over tomorrow as well! His mother finally agreed to it! I'm so very excited and happy ^^

    What do you mean update the menu script for the 'mystery gift' feature? :o how does it function?
    I know, I saw Luka's script and thought it looked nice but posts somewhere else were having issues with new essentials, urgh, I wish they'd both work with new essentials, that'd be really nice, but the people working on this advanced stuff all have busy lives -_-; oh well.
    Oh yay! I'm glad you like it ^^; I'm not too confident in my mapping skills, was considering picking someone up to help me with it, it's supposed to be a sort of natural map, where no humans have been, which is of course why Mew chooses it as it's hiding place. What bothers me is how I might have to edit these tiles to make my own snow versions of them because i'll be having a city with snow (obviously) and i'm terrible at tiling..
    There's lots of cool roaming Pokemon on the map :)
    I'm looking into Help-14's Pokemon Follow Script, I was wondering if you knew much about it, it looks like a pain to set up and has a few bugs, do you know if it's usable or not?

    I think you'd make a good mod, you're kind, and you know the rules, you're always helping people in the right direction...anyway, I just wanted to show you this, it's not 100% but it took me 2 hours -_-;

    I've got a test coming up this Friday and then at least 3 mid term exams coming up but they haven't given us dates yet, I'm a little nervous about them I have to say, I'm not too good with tests :S Just make sure you're prepared for them :p

    Alright well, that being said I'll probably just head off to beed soon *yawns* Poor sleepy me. I'm having trouble deciding on what tiles to use for Hoenn there are quite a few good different styles I might go for some un-used ones from Deviant Art.

    I'm alright for now, I seem to enjoy doing the gameplay stuff solo, I'm way too harsh on people because I expect someone to produce my quality of work or better and I'm often even harsh on my own mapping, heh, I guess that's why I've gotten so much better, not great yet, I'll get there though. But if you think you can handle it I could always use a hand in Hoenn mapping. I'm so picky about my own maps from Kansai I re-do them like 4 or 5 times before I'm happy with them and their tileset -_-;
    If I'm gone before you get back you can always leave me a message for tomorrow, but I wont be up too late tomorrow, gotta get up at 6:50am to get ready for school and stuff..

    Yeah, I don't like doing indoor maps so I tend to put them off D: I try to map them more like real houses (bigger) and it goes terribly wrong and I have to look at examples and re-map -_-' anyway yeah already uploaded an example of what will happen

    Of course they'd be seperate files :p otherwise it wouldn't work the way I want it.

    Edit: Really it's the simplist way I've come up with to track and deal with 16 badges not in chronoglical order they wont all really fit on a trainer card too well. :p
    Hmmm...I've noticed you do a bit of scripting to help a few different people ^^ that's pretty cool. Rustboro is going so slowly...I'm doing all Towns Routes and Cities first, then caves, and then finally indoors I think it'll be how it goes. Lastly will come my extra maps.
    Well, if you could help me somehow that'd be great :S I could make placeholder images and a template and show you a rough idea?
    Yes, I noticed while looking at your thread you were using Kyledove's tiles, I don't mind them, but I'm a little bit sick of seeing them -_-' and the OW sprite was a little oddly done, but a new graphical appeal would be cool, I don't know how different your game is now from that first post in your old thread, but I'd love to see some screen shots of what you've done ^^

    So, do you know if it's possible to add a key item that displays an image when used and has other small images displayed upon a certain variable being set (When you beat the gym leaders) so I can have a case that stores the 16 badges instead of using the trainer card? I can easily delete stuff from the trainer card that's not an issue. But I don't want them to be set in an order, because I want the player to be able to take on Hoenn in any order they please after completing Kansai.

    I though I'd say hello. I'm working on mapping Rustboro City at the moment, Hoenn is nice, I might if I get bored do some ledgendary area mapping/planning, mew is the focus of my storyline but Many more ledgendaries will be obtainable, of course the Hoenn ones will get their own events in Hoenn, but no Team Magma or Aqua I think.
    Just wondering how you're going, and if you're still working on your old project Unknown? (i think it was) I'm thinking of having a Key item badge case for all the 16 badges from my game, to keep the trainer card from getting messy. I was wondering if you knew if it was possibly simple to apply annimations to the Pokemon in the menu you made like they do in the actualy Pokemon menu? If not, that's cool I just thought them being stationary was a little odd. And is the idea of a key item badge case possible? I don't see why not.
