  • For your first run, play Normal/Casual. And get the female avatar. Hard is just hard for the first couple chapters then it gets really easy. When you get to postgame, train some Spotpass/Streetpass/DLC characters (like giving all the women Galeforce and Lethality, which makes them unstoppable) and update them in your Avatar Logbook. Then when you go to Lunatic, you can recruit these characters directly from your logbook after a few chapters and breeze through the game. I strongly recommend buying the Golden Pack, because you're going to need the Golden Gaffe and EXPonential Growth maps for grinding.

Among the parents, Olivia is the best character other than the Avatar. I trained her some and she's an Assassin with Astra, Swordfaire, Pass, Lethality and Galeforce. She's totally unstoppable. I'm using her in my final team for the Apotheosis DLC. I gave her the boots so she has extra move points.
Haha we are! So psyched on the new Mega Charizard art... looks awesome. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME UGH
AR wise I've seen a kid destroy his game after using one code and it was the Item code to add 1 items at 99 or higher. He used it and his game would not properly save after that.

As for Pokedex, thats up to you.
    You're welcome! c:
It's always nice to see members enjoying what they're doing, an reading the Journals is always fun for me. I get to see each person play with their own little spin on the games and whatnot. So thank you so much for being a part of the section! c:
Hi, yes, I like your nicknames, they fit the Pokemon. I usually just "like" the posts in the travel journal forum, since I can't really reply there unless I'm posting my own journal.
I don't think it works that way. Once damage is done, its done. If you have no issues you should be in the green, just don't push it any further than you already have. You still have to abuse the use to get any heavy damage.
If you already have the license for Win7, just reinstall that. You can always upgrade later if you ever want to. I usually wait until after the first service pack before I even consider upgrading to a new version of Windows.

I think degree programs vary a lot by university. Our CS program is great. The CE program thinks it's great, but most of the professors are the "just figure everything out from the book" kind, which is like the worst kind. Very low retention rate that they justify by saying it's a "sink or swim" field.

The best advice I can give you is to try and see how the programs are at whatever university you want to go to. Ask if you can talk to someone in the respective programs, get the feeling from them if they're actually learning or just being given crap and told to do it. Maybe ask if you can sit in on a class or two.

The CS program at my university (GVSU) was very good for a number of reasons, but by a complete fluke we had a great lab setup that encouraged CS people to actually talk to each other, which was extremely fortunate. You might also want to see if there's a similar kind of hangout place for whatever program you do choose, you can make a lot of important connections that way and you learn much more than doing everything by yourself. Plus you can make a lot of friends.

CS is supposed to be a research field, but most programs gear the major portion toward software development, as ours did. You might want to check out what each of the programs entails and see how it matches up with what you actually want to do when you graduate.
Sure, I guess that would be fine. Just make sure it doesn't cover other new mechanic speculation such as triple types, friendship, experience, and whatever else is under the Battle-related and Game Mechanics speculation portion of the Index otherwise a lot of topics will be overlapping, and we wouldn't want that. You could also mention something like this so people know there are other threads to speculate about other game mechanics. But yeah, go ahead.
Nothing wrong with that. I took my sweet time and tried to make it last as long as possible. I guess I should really work on filling my unova dex but I think I'll skip that and just train my favorites. xD Everyone can play it however they want and I really like that.
