I'll go ahead and tell you what you'll be seeing. We'll be having a variety of different lands, which do not make appearences in BW, giving it its own feel. The tiles will also be completely different, even if they have been in BW. The only reasons I think you think it's too different is because all you see are the basic tiles: beach, ocean, trees, grass, tall grass, etc.

You'll be seeing:
Farmland/Rice fields
Autumn/Spring Forest
Geyser Fields/Volcano
Plains/Dry Expanses (I really don't know how to desribe it, but it's a desert, but without the sand. It's pretty much like Arizona)
Mountains/Snow/Rope Bridges
Marshlands
Coral Reef (acts as Safari Zone)

The wide variety of biomes is something that relates to the storyline a bit. I hope you can see how the tiles will vary. :P

Well I take that as a compliment, then. ^_^ But I think you see this because of the fact that there hasn't been much change yet in tiles. They're all the same. You will see difference from BW. Trust me. ^_^

Copied? What do you mean by that? Like, ripping them? If so, I didn't. The tiles of the game right now don't show much variation from BW, because there isn't much. But after you get off the island, everything will start getting a lot more creative and different. I looked at the BW tiles for reference to get the style. But no more looking for reference. :)

:( I am feeling down. I have nothing to do with anything but the graphics of the game. So when someone says they dont like the graphics of the game, then why shouldn't I feel bad? That means I'm not doing my part and allowing them to have the best graphical experience they can have. :,(

I guess...this is making me sad, now.

Eh. I enjoy the new style for a number of reasons, though:

1) It's more unique. No present fan-games have BW styled graphics, rather, almost all fan-games have HGSS styled graphics.
2) It is new. Gives more creativity also and freedom because of the tile-size.
3) It's already in the game. Too late now!

Why do you think it's not unique anymore? :(
