Haha sorry if I got your hopes up, this thing I'm writing now is just a different version of Absolute, except I've planned it all out instead of just writing and getting ideas along the way. Well, I think I only ended up posting the first two or three chapters of the old version anyway (and then all the other chapters were wiped off the computer when my dad rebooted it so I lost them) so it'd still be all new.
Anyway needless to say, like you I've looked at my old writing and felt the need to revamp it so yeah I'm doing my best effort to write more.. elegantly, if that's a proper way of describing it. I'm just hoping that I don't look back on what I'm writing now in a year and go "oh that was terrible".
It's weird, now that I've got a plan of what happens in each chapter it's taking a couple of hours to write a paragraph (ie. painfully slow) and so it'll probably be a decade before I finally get through writing the prologue. But I mean without a plan I could go a chapter and a half in a couple of hours and then look over it a few times as well. As in sure I'm definitely glad that I'm pumping out better quality writing than I was a year ago (hopefully :S) but I just can't start paragraphs, I look at a sentence and think "that doesn't look good" and wipe it out. Have you had that problem before?
Oh and thanks for the comment about Absolute :)
