    Do you think you could give me an example on looping a song? Because I'm going to insert like 40 songs and looping them by hand in notepad would take forever. I remember in your tut you showed how to but I didn't really get it.

    Also out of the like 40 songs I'm inserting, 15 of em are like a bit over a minute. Would they take up too much space?

    Oh and I also imported like six instruments from FR thanks again.
    Just to say thanks to you, I managed to import the Distortion Guitar from FR into Ruby.

    I really don't know how to thank you. You helped me so much in instrument modding.

    Well, Just to give you an update on the music instruments.

    Well, through trial and error I got some instruments (only 3 lol)

    Well, anyways, that's not the point.
    I'm trying to get the wav file for the overdriven guitar, pan flute, distortion guitar, acoustic guitar steel, and electric bass finger from FireRed and put it into Ruby.
    I pretty much found the wav file for the Distortion guitar (I THINK because when I played the song in sappy the track with the distortion guitar made no noise whatsoever). I took the wav file, transferred it over into ruby, and changed the pointers like you said, etc. And I play it in Sappy and guess what? It's GBsynth (meaning the distortion guitar didn't work) You think you can help me out a bit or maybe try getting the distortion guitar yourself and try putting it into Ruby?

    You don't have to but it would help a lot... As MANY of the songs I want to import into the game have all the instruments I mentioned above.

    Oh, and btw, I found an AWESOME site for midis: http://midi.thehylia.com/downloads

    (Oh and in Sappy 06 I don't have to change the instrument number in the track in a hex editor because when I assemble a song in Sappy 06 it automatically does it, so that's not the problem.)

    To be frank if i was in the Philippines I'd be graduating in March! Too bad there's 2 extra Grades here in the US (7th and 8th) and they put me in 7th instead of 8th because "I only finished 6th Grade" >.>

    I just noticed on your Pokemon Jupiter version thread that you added telepathy through ASM. I'm trying to learn ASM myself. Do you know any good tutorials out there? Or did you actually just mess around with stuff?
    Yea I know I understand how to import, for example, a pan flute, from Golden Sun. Though I haven't really TESTED IT yet I know how the pointers and stuff are set up, just that combining each voicegroup is hard because you don't exactly know which pointer is which instrument....

    Also, why would it require repointing? Just combine all the voicegroups at like, 0x900000, and keep all the old ones. Then, import a song and set its voicegroup to 0x900000.

    I think my main problem is that I can't find out which pointer is which instrument. Also I'm going to try and use tile molster, though I'm much more used to hex workshop.
    Hey update on the music voicegroup thing.
    I tried many different times to add in one instrument from another voicegroup into this one, but it's not working. I noticed that some pointers have an FF7F at the end while other have like FFAF or FFAE. I also noticed that there are different frequencies per instrument. Or at least, that's how I'm seeing it. Because when I import a song with an overdriven guitar in it in Sappy it sounds all messed up like not even an overdriven guitar. I also tried importing a song in one voicegroup to a different voicegroup that has its same exact instruments except for one rarely used instrument. When I did that, the pitch and frequency was all different. I'm not sure but maybe I should COMBINE all the voicegroups into one or something?

    Also, I noticed that the way the pointers are arranged in a voicegroup are not necassarily the same as in Sappy. The last pointer to an instrument in one of the voicegroup happened to be like the third instrument in the order in the song or something,

    Some bugs:
    When you get to the weather institute it's messed up and just after you cross the bridge your rival battles you and the game crashes.

    The top of the Mt. Pyre place is empty and you can't move.
