It's cool to be out-of-the-loop about games....the greatest feeling ever for me was realising Platinum had already been out for 3 months, I hadn't played pokémon for 6, and I knew nothing about it! Made it so much more fun :D

Yeah, I don't really want to know so much about Gen V (for example, in RSE, a guy in Devon mentions reproducing the dreams of pokémon? In Gen V, we have the Dream World, which I think is the dreams of pokémon....), as it ruins it.

I have been using a cloth......but then the laptop overheats. So I've come up with a system: Charger = no cloth, no charger = cloth. :P

Yeah...I can understand your feeling...I get that all the time with my crappy laptop (We lived in a place with crappy electricity, so now it's damaged and overheats really easily. It practically sets my desk on fire every time it's put on the charger).

Rumour has it that Dive comes back in Gen V, albeit for a small side-quest, which is good, as it also hints at Gen III remakes! (Hopefully they're based more on Emerald than R/S, which will make them better, and give you a chance to enjoy them!).

Oh, and yeah, catching Rayquaza isn't fair on the Elite Four really, as even the champion only has a lv.59 pokémon as his strongest....

I kinda like the graphics for how crisp they are (DPPt are blurry in a bad way), but then again, the lack of straight edges in Hg/Ss makes them that much graphically better, combined with 3-D.

Bad luck with that....the GBA slot in my DSLite is the only one that works for more than 5 minutes. It's really awkward, I use that to migrate pokémon, but then have to use my DSi to capture them in the pal park.

You missed out on the hardest bit with Victory Road, honestly, that is tougher to navigate than the (more realistic than any others) complex oceans in Hoenn. Although it's mainly because of how crappy RSE Flash is.
