Sure. Controllable boats is a neat idea. (Though when polishing it up, I might suggest either having the boat stay at the most recent dock, or cutting the long 'coming to pick you up' sequence by simply having the boat teleport to slightly off-screen and then coming into view, rather than moving the camera to it and then having the camera follow it back to the player. Right now those sequences consume a lot of time (and won't scale well if you ever decide to make much bigger maps).)
