You are right but it only affected it's electrical attacks, it didn't affect the other like iron tail, quick attack, double-edge... But this is just in Unova. On the beggining of the other regions Ash started lke a newbie and his pikachu too, and they should act like veterans.

Does anyone notice that when Ash and Pikachu start a new adventure on a new region they look like newbies? I just saw the first episodes of the Unova season and Pikachu gets beated up by a newly starter snivy.. There's no way a roockie Snivy can beat a Veteran like Ash's pikachu with one...

Ash is based on red. That's my opinion. But Red is by far more powerfull than Ash. Red has badass pokemons and Ash catches many low standarts route pokemons.

Krookodile is my choise..The first time i played White he was one of my powerhouses.. The name was not original lol Krookodile = Crocodile.. I hate Darmatian Zen mode..it annoys me.. and i find it pointless.. But this is just my opinion .

I agree with you in the apes thing.. I have one Pansear but i didn't go with his stats..I gave up on him when i found Larvesta and after Volcarona (one of the best fire pokemons in my opinion). I like Zebstrika though.. But i don't agree with you when you said Ampharos was disappointing...

Liepard Still better than a garbage bag... An attacker garbage bag that only learns Gunk shot as it's best physical attack.. Gunk shot that for itself is soooooo inaccurate.. I think Blaziken and Infernape where awesome for Fire/Fighting types but Emboar is like a "wanabe" of those two.. And...

Talking about nicknames.. I'm not sure, but i think i still have my Arbok(!) on Soul silver wich nickname is "Rat Eater".. Lol, it was just for the fun, but it still true xD
