Ya know, speaking of opening up the game before you even leave the store, this is the first time I'll be going to a midnight release for a portable game. I'm curious to see how many people are going to crack it open and whip out their 3DS to play before they even leave the store. I know I will. {XD}

I'm getting X for now, and I may get Y later on if/when I decide to do a replay. This time around I could just upload to Pokemon Bank and start a new file on the same game too, which is nice.

Every Pokemon you catch? Are you planning on catching a lot? You must have a lot of free time. haha.

As Reshilegend said, Animal Crossing got a midnight release, and considering how popular Pokemon is compared to Animal Crossing, I think it's pretty safe to assume it will hit the e-shop at midnight too, and if you have fast internet it shouldn't take that long to download either.
