Read the guide. It's very good, and I think I agreed with everything. The points about what causes writer's block are particularly helpful.

I actually didn't bother seeing what the new features were, so I should probably get on that.

I haven't read any of your stories yet. Is there one you'd like me to read?

Her setting up that forum makes me think of this; I'm an evil overlord, and I want to see who opposes me. So I pretend to set up a Resistance where people write propaganda against me, and I pretend to be a member while in disguise. Then, since I know who my enemies are, I bomb the place XD

What a jerk, and a wrong jerk, too--I believe the Elements of Style and the Chicago Manual of Style disagree on the matter of capitalization, and in the Lord of the Rings, Tolkien capitalizes Elf, Man, Dwarf, and Hobbit, which are the names of races and do not refer to genus, making her example of the Hobbit a very poor choice. I'm just telling you this so you don't believe her just because it sounds as if she's giving constructive criticism.

I do that too! Even if I only have, say, three reviews on a story, I'll read them over and over again.

Then again, there is a whole "hate on Farla" community on ff.net, it looks like. I guess she's known for leaving harsh reviews? Those flames are just... scary.

It turned out that the woman who was reviewing my fanfiction didn't leave because she disliked the last chapter. She was just busy with work. I feel embarrassingly happy about this.
