What a jerk, and a wrong jerk, too--I believe the Elements of Style and the Chicago Manual of Style disagree on the matter of capitalization, and in the Lord of the Rings, Tolkien capitalizes Elf, Man, Dwarf, and Hobbit, which are the names of races and do not refer to genus, making her example of the Hobbit a very poor choice. I'm just telling you this so you don't believe her just because it sounds as if she's giving constructive criticism.
I do that too! Even if I only have, say, three reviews on a story, I'll read them over and over again.
