Oh, well I don't even mean using old characters as Rivals, I just mean in a similar way that Red and Blue were used in GSCHGSS. ie, a way that makes relative sense. I'm talking like the odd epic-battle, and that has to be near enough to the end of the game. But not too obviously so, you know? Not like a blatant "oh-look-gsc-had-this-and-it-was-awesome-so-I-used-it-too" thing. :P

They were two of my exams, yes. Irish was about two weeks ago, German was last week.

Oh, I see. If I'm understanding you correctly then I guess we're of the same mindset. I mean, I don't mind hacks that include previous protagonists as long as they fit the storyline, but I don't see much point in randomly placing them (As done in LP, though again, I don't mean to bad mouth it), and I really don't see the point in making a hack generally centered around them. It'd take a really, really good story to make that work well, and people tend to not be able to execute that too well. In my humblest opinion. :D

We only get breaks for exams that have listening-sections. For German, Irish and (obviously) Music, there's aural parts, so for the first two you get a break because you have to move to another exam centre, and for Music.. It's pretty much the same as the first two, really :D

Funnliy enough, I'm one who's not totally against including previous protagonists, provided it's executed well :3
Not to speak ill of Light Platinum, but I disagree with how WesleyFG used characters like Gold, Red, Diamond, etc. Randomly battling a talkative Red at the second Gym is.. Just plain wrong, IMO.

I guess I really should be getting back to it.. I'm in the Library (school library) taking advantage of the computers while nobody else is here.
I do have exam notes open in another tab, though... Ugh. This is goin gto be such a long ass exam. 1:30 to 4:45. With like a 10 minute break in between, but still :(

Also, I did some tile changes yesterday. And made the final boss of my hack a Shiny Pikachu, with Volt Tackle and Blast Burn and Hydro Cannon and Frenzy Plant. And when you beat it you get 10 Master Balls, and access to Hoenn, Sinnoh, Johto, Unova, and if my thread gets enough positive comments, I'll add Orre, too. Oh how I do love ROM Hacking.

No offence, of course, but when you guys say itv (definitely when someone with an Aussie accent says it, anyway), it sounds like "drawring" (accidentally the same as my usertitle, ignore please). Not that that's wrong, it's just when I hear them say it on Home and Away or Neighbours I'm always like "Haha. DRAWRING." :P

Oh sorry, My computer blocks messages out with static sometimes, I was wondering if you would/could help me with some Mapping? (Terrible at mapping caves). I have a concept and it needs to be judged as a concept, and I also need some actual route mapping help (as I suck at making routes I like.) and maybe some help finding graphics if you're free. My resources are spread thinly and If you can't help thats fine, I know how .... Busy you are...
