Funny you should mention a one-shot contest, because I'm writing a story for one on Serebii. The theme is Hoenn, in tribute to the new Hoenn games. I've made a little progress with the next chapter of Roots, but naturally I've been focusing more on the one-shot. (I also thought of something terrific for the Sunyshore chapters, so I've had to change a few things around in the chapter.)

By any chance, would you have the time to take a look at my Hoenn one-shot? It's about 9,500 words (the limit is 10,000), and the deadline is the 15th. I'm completely done with it, but of course I want to edit it a bit.

I've actually been occupied with revising the earlier chapters, and I've finished 0.1-0.5. Chapter 43 is at a standstill for some reason. I know eactly what's going to happen (and I even have the rough draft of most of the scenes completed), I just can't get myself to write the rest. So I've been procrastinating with revising the earlier chapters, which I guess isn't bad, since I'm still working on Roots. But I'll try to get back to work on the main storyline, since I want to finish Sunyshore by the end of this summer.

That's all right. Feel better soon! I'm working on Chapters 42 and 43.

Hey. I've decided that I need a few more days with the chapter (at least until mid-next week), so I'll work out the issues for myself and post the chapter on my own. If I'm still bouncing it around by the time you get back, I'll send it to you then, but I'll likely be able to manage on my own.

Hey! Sorry I didn't VM you saying that I posted the review -- I completely forgot to do that. I was actually about to tell you now, just in case you thought that after all this time I still hadn't done it :P

I'm in the middle of final exam week right now, with four more exams to go. I'll be done with everything by Wednesday, so sometime then I'll continue working on 41. Honestly I've had the rough draft written all the way to the end for a long time, so I don't know why it's taken me this long to get around to editing it. But hopefully I'll be able to get it to you by the end of this week.

Hey! I've posted Chapter 40. I already have a rough draft of Chapter 41, which shouldn't take me that long to edit, since it's a relatively simple chapter. I'll continue writing on my own in the meantime, but if I ever run into a difficulty, I'll let you know.
