I'm pretty sure it does... I've grabbed the egg a few times when she only turned, and the IVs were not flawless... I was just hoping I could get a "maybe you're not messing up" assurance....

I only find the last part of IVing hard only. The rest is simple. But it's only long at the time you first try and the next few times even if you succeed...
