Durham's nice enough, but I can't imagine living there any more. I love the hustle and bustle of London way too much to go back! I've been to the Riverside once - when I was a looooooooot younger, and for a Beanie Baby convention - but that's been my only real exposure to Boro. At least you've got the Transporter Bridge!

Villarreal made a terrible, terrible mistake: they hired Miguel Ángel Lotina Orrigoichea (MALO, "bad") as their coach. The guy has now relegated 6 teams in his career, an absolute record in Spain.

Well, it's a combination of many things- Madrid aren't a joke, and they have never been, even during their disastrous 2009 season they still managed to come out in second. Then you have Villa's injury that left Barcelona without one of their best strikers, and Abidal's cancer, which caused a serious issue on their defence (and they still are the team to have conceded less goals this season, 26 in 36). Then you have cases of bad luck, with lots of handballs from Madrid and they never had to face a penalty until two weeks ago, and Barcelona have been denied galring ones right when some matches were about to end- ones they were losing or drawing.

About the Chelsea match, it's the same thing as the Inter semifinal two years ago, the exact identical thing :P Barça (and pretty much every team ever) have an issue playing teams with a 9-0-0-1 setup. The story would have been different had they faced Bayern- at least it would have been more entertaining.

Don't call it BBVA, that's like talking about "The Barclays" XD

And I assumed it would happen way too long ago- back in February, actually. It was less of a shock than the 2007 one.

Why? Athletic have lost and that means we keep 6th place. Had the won, we'd be off the EL spots XD

There is a time when you have to concentrate on your team and ignore everyone else. And thanks to Barça beating up Malaga, we are still 5 points off that CL spot- this weekend we play them and it will be the most crucial match in a while.
