Awh, shucks :3 Thanks, man:) I think it may be possible using Tile Molester/Tile Layer Pro, I was looking at replacing the Backsprites today and saw something that looked like the Water animation (but I couldn't say for certain, as the palette was the crazy default TLP palette at the time :P).

Oh, well in that case I may be able to help you out a bit. I've replaced all the Emerald overworlds with the Fire Red ones in my hack, and have a little folder directory of all of them. They're all indexed already, as they're ripped directly from Fire Red. Do you want them? I would offer to insert, but don't have much free time. It's a lot quicker if you don't have to rip them as well as insert them, so if you want the folder just give me a shout:D

And to edit the animations, edit them as a common ruby or firered rom, it's the same :)

Hey, Flandre, I read you were replacing useless Pokemon for the Gym Leader mugshots? Just, before you do anything hasty, why not replace those "empty slots"? Or had you thought of that? (actually, If I remember correctly, the Emerald Empty-slot palette can't be changed, I think, so would that be why you're not using them?) sorry for being random, just wondered:)
