Oooh I dont play Duel Links but that's super exciting bc it's always good for Zexal to get more shine somewhere! Especially when it's not yuma, shark, or kaito.

But yesss zexal is my favourite ygo series hands down. Love the characters, monsters are great, and the story was very good imo.

Ngl I only played AoE 2 with friends so we were probably not very good haha. But I do remember always using a mix of different troops because I had read somewhere that certain troops countered others? So I tried not to invest too much in one thing just in case the type I focused on didn't work. Stellaris sounds a lot like Among Us actually, I just feel a little bad sometimes because I'm such a vile person when I get impostor in that game :D
I'm similar with Pokémon in that regard. Pretty much the reason I play Showdown now is because I don't have the patience or time to breed "perfect" Pokémon for competitive... well, besides me not liking Sw/Sh much :|

I've played Age of Empires too (the 2nd one), League of Legends, Pokémon, and Among Us, but out of those four I only play Pokémon nowadays. Honestly, League is still the most fun of them for me, but I don't have the patience nor the mental energy to deal with toxic people anymore. I agree with you though, strategy games are more fun online or with friends, but an engaging world/story can be very refreshing, especially after playing online for so long.
Yeah, it'd be strange if YGO didn't have something to play online like Showdown. I guess playing from home is very convenient, at least? :>

Oh, I see! I'm not a fan of shooters really but strategy games are super fun. I'm the opposite of you in that sense, I used to play mostly online games, but now I prefer single-player (okay, I still play Showdown but I barely open it these days).

I don't blame you, League is super hard to get into at first if you've never played any game like it before, I wouldn't have gotten into it at all if my friends didn't play it so much. Where do you play YGO? I've always loved some of the monsters designs I've seen from it ngl.

I've been told I'm "too much" a few times before so I'd rather avoid it, at least with people I'm not close to. But it's nice to find people who don't mind my ramblings uwu

Yeah, most non-card games seem to be like that too tbh. I play Pokémon Showdown and you usually see the same Pokémon in OU all the time. The only game I've played where meta didn't seem all that important was League, and that game was hella toxic anyway >.>

Saaame, honestly I get super worried about that sometimes. Like, people I've dated have told me that me being passionate and talkative is something they love about me, but then I also feel like I come off as really annoying or immature to other people, so I try not to do it too much :|
