  • I see that you gave me all of 28 minutes to respond before making a thread to complain about this. I have therefore responded in that thread rather than in this VM conversation or in a PM.
No. You can create one thread per game project, and that's it. You can't have additional threads that only serve to advertise your "work".

I'm surprised that you have a "fangame development group" and yet you're looking to hire people for every development position imaginable. Surely the people already in your group are capable of doing at least some of the work you want to do?

I'll forego advising you not to take on too many big tasks (i.e. projects) at once, because if one thing is clear, you don't listen. What Luka has been telling you is very good advice. You WILL crash and burn VERY quickly if you carry on the way you're going. Starting simple and working up is the path to success, and making progress by yourself before asking for other people to help out is good for all kinds of reasons (shows commitment, attracts higher calibre people, etc. etc.). We've seen people just like you many times in the past, and they have ALL failed without exception. No, you're not going to beat the odds, because the odds of your success are literally zero. But you won't listen. As Luka says, I'd give you two months before you give up and leave.
My main problem is that nobody makes anything for mac, so I have nothing to test my c code with, I'll check that link out though
not much.. I got it mixed up with c sharp in my mind, which I actually do know..
Hey, I've been working with lire-c and I think your game would be a lot better off if you get someone on board who knows the language really well. I really wish I could help but I think I'd just slow everything down, y'know?
Good luck on the project though
I forgot to add you to my friend's list after our discussion the other day, so you have just been friended! Let me know what you need alright?
I think there have been games like that, but both versions/pairings were presented in the same thread.
I understand. You want to be the creative head of the game, the leader of it, but not do any gruntwork yourself.
As to not spam the other thread

Why would anyone help you with that attitude? You clearly have no interest in investing time to learn the necessary skills to make a game, so why would others do your work, when you clearly can't be bothered to?
