Yes, he is. Their entire family is, really. Granted, Sainan's dead, their father is missing and their mother remains at home with a character I've yet to mention, and I won't tell you because it could spoil things! (aka, I'm too lazy to type right now and I'm not sure I have her character entirely figured out, lol.)

How much of the roleplay have I followed? I've read most if it since rejoining, although I sometimes ignore the Silver Tribe posts.

Sorry about the long wait between my posts. I've noticed that I have something of a hard time getting myself to write RP posts, as it partially feels like a chore to me.

So, to combat this, I've limited my number of RPs further and have decided that I'll make the time it takes to write my posts shorter by brute force. Recently, I decided I'd change the way I do things- everything I do, that is. That I'd be a more "Take Charge" and "Dedicated" person that tries harder in any and every endeavor (except various sports).

So, no need to worry about these "waits" anymore, my posts should be more frequent.

Well, first, I think it's important to understand that I never suggested that the RP will end with Auron's demise. To say so would reveal how the RP would end, or at the very least the direction it would take. All I can say is that I have planned out to basically the fullest extent how the RP will go and end (though there may be room for tinkering from the other RPers, should they choose to). All in due time. ;)

As for the other question, the crystals need to be relatively close, I'd say within a kilometer length apart at most, but probably would be more effective is much closer.

Fine by me. I was actually considering it when I started writing my newest post (which hasn't been posted yet) but I really couldn't find a good place to put it.

Slow, I'd say. At birth, she'd be a child (say, one of around 8-10 years of age), and after 1-3 years she'll become a teenager...I dunno. I'm not even sure if we'd still be in SAO once we've been there for 3 (in game) years.
