Ehhh, some are tough - some are not so tough. There is a wiiiide gap of experience between some members and others. Not saying anyone's bad, but there are gym leaders who are still getting better themselves, and still in the process of learning competitive battling.

It's not as bad as you'd think, not sure if you've seen the whole deal on the league but you're allowed to completely break down and remake the build of any pokemon between battles, which essentially on DS means you can trade out team members as long as they're the same species.

ie; you can use both seaking on your run - say, the swift swim liechi berry one for singles when you feel like it, and the lightningrod one for doubles when it fits. (Lightningrod is much better in doubles, as it can redirect as well as switch in. AND absorb an ally's electric attacks. )

Ditto that - if everyone else is using it, I'm often planning on countering it more than copying it. And any time you're free I'm usually up for a battle - except Mondays :P I have 3 classes Monday. That's no good heh. And ooo, potential Prism league challenger eh? I wish ye the best of luck on that, it's not too hard to grab all the badges, but I have to say the people in elite spots are pretty good. You have to know how to do both doubles and singles too, since it's leaders choice.

Our Missing Elite was actually terribly inactive; hence dropping them. We're looking for a new one at the moment, to replace them - as a matter of fact.

I did ahhh, jolly I think - Jolly with swift swim, 252 atk + speed, 4 HP - Choice band though, with Waterfall Poison jab Megahorn and mmm - return? Some fourth random move haha. Those were the best coverage it got really.

SPECIAL though, it can have Hydro Pump, ice beam, signal beam, and whatever hidden power, plus psybeam if you breed. So yeah - a few more options, just a bit. Plus turning one weakness into an immunity and a means of boosting sp atk is a nice trick.

Whim was 200 HP and calm 252 sp.def, but don't worry about the crit, it's part of the game.
It was a fun match non the less.
