  • Of course. No reason to go beyond the technological levels that are presented to us. While I'm sure Fontaine has wheelchairs, I don't think they're super high tech. I'd imagine if any existed in placed like Monstadt, they'd look something like this. Simple and serving the purpose it is set out to do: helping someone move around.

One that is a manual one.
Maybe wooden ones with wooden wheels? But, I don't imagine anything beyond that.

There are some carriages with wheels in Genshin for pulling stuff. But, they remain abandoned. Lol.

Genshin definitely takes place in a time where they could exist. But, I think I'm going to approach it like they built one (a chair with wheels) that's very basic.
Do you think wheelchairs exist in the Genshin Impact universe?

Definitely not asking because I have an upcoming oc who was born with backwards hips and legs, by the way... totally just a fun question with no motives for a new Genshin oc that I definitely, most certainly, didn't have on the backburner since a long time ago. Nope.
Apparently, ellipses is another "overused writing" thing. But, to be honest, I only agree in the video game space for that.

If you played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, they overdid it.

Also, apparently that & the semicolon.

That's so nitpicky. It's also impossible to avoid the word "that". I'm not going to even try.
Here's the meme btw people nitpicking about commas too, apparently.
I am done with anyone who complains about sighing in writing. I sigh at least ten times or more, a day.

Not going to go out of my way to avoid it just because Bobby from Twitter acts like it's the worst thing ever. Lol
Also, apparently, sighing is "overused" which annoys people.

But let me tell you: I don't care !
Siorc is tired & barely talks so he is allowed to sigh as much as he wants.

So, I will continue to write him sigh every chapter.
I do try to avoid ellipses, though.
I hear it's a common writer thing to overuse really, so definitely impossible.
Well, of course, I don't want to go overboard. I tend to steer away from flowerly language, anyway.

I can't avoid using "really" altogether, anyway. Way too difficult.
It is, I suppose. Writing the poem a day before helps me to get started right at the stroke of 3pm the day after.

    But.

I'm trying to cut down on the words "really" & "right" when writing my acrostic atm because I overuse "right" "Really" & "obviously"...
I wrote a special 2,700 word acrostic to celebrate. It's in my lore poems thread, but it's not a lore poem, just a cute little narrative poem.

But, it's back to normal tomorrow. Just prewrote (I write the first poem a day ahead of the next new chapter) for the new chapter I'm writing, so I'm all set for that.
I think I made a White Blind for Dehya recently & another one of the prototype swords for Xingqiu because I wanna r5 it.

By the way, say Happy Birthday to Siorc. It's his birthday.
I finished that one awhile ago. It really isn't worth it. All that for a weapon? It's just too much.

I don't have the rest of the Inazuma blueprints, either, but I can't be bothered. I rarely craft the craftable weapons.
Ah, Fresh Meat! (that's a link) You have to do it to get the Goulash recipe.

Also, the Dragonspine's Spear quest is one I loathed. But, tbh, I hate all the Dragonspine World Quests. I gave the spear to Yun Jin in the end.

Speaking of Quests, next chapter, Siorc is going to the new 3.6 area, finally. I unlocked the whole map for him.
Also, the Goulash recipe one took me over a year because of that annoying boss fight.

And that nameless samurai one where the Nobushi heals mid fight.
You have to complete In The Mountains in order to unlock the Cryo Hypostasis.

So, yeah, you do. You probably just already had it done so you didn't think it was connected.
The big Inazuma ones do, too. But, you only really need to do Seirai Stormchasers if you want to get Raiden & Sara past 40.

The worst quests are the Dragonspine ones, though. I hated all I have to do just to unlock the Cryo Hypostasis. I have Eula at 60 still atm, but I remember how annoying the questline to unlock the boss.

By the way, tomorrow, Siorc & Naofa are building a Ruin Grader together, but there's a problem: a Strange, fluid mind Hilichurl scattered all fifty parts to build it around Sumeru. Oops.
I just did the first part of Orobashi's Legacy.

It's as annoying as I thought. It requires you to do a very specific pattern puzzle.
& Tbh, skipping certain world quests is okay. But, some you have to do for progression. A lot of Sumeru's Waypoints are hidden behind world quests, sadly.
The underwater one is the one associated with the Perpetual Machine Array boss, actually. And, it's tied to a series of rather annoying puzzles & part of the Sakura Cleansing. You have to do some blocks in a very specific order to drain an entire thing of water, and then another set of Electro Cube puzzles to do the same thing.

Had to Google it in order to get that one. The waypoints I'm missing are two domains.

Finishing Orobashi's Legacy unlocks the Formation Estate Domain in Yashiori Island. Because... the thunderstorm doesn't clear until you finish that (annoying) questline.

I'm also missing the domain in Watatsumi Island, but I forget how to do the puzzle.
Honestly? I do the World Quests. Not all of them, of course. Mostly the extremely important ones only, though.

Did all of Sakura Cleansing (I hated it), all of the extremely important Sumeru ones (Aranara Golden Sands, Jeht Hadramaveth quests (3.4), Sorush questline) Some of the other important Inazuma ones (Serai Stormchasers, Through the Mists), And, every single Mondstadt one at some point, and probably a majority of the Liyue ones that didn't make me get stuck.

Some, though, honestly, screw some of them. Some, I won't bother with. There's some really annoying ones from Liyue (Treasure Lost, Treasure Found) and Inazuma like Orobashi's legacy. But, I might someday because I want to unlock that domain that's locked behind that world quest so I can have all the teleport waypoints unlocked including domains.
