eh, I pretty much stay at home all day doing nothing x3 and I think the way to cure that problem is to post a VM on your profile and delete it

Because it's a romance story. I'm not into the battles when the main focus is romance. And Gold is mainly for comedy relief so that readers aren't constantly depressed, similiar to what Shakespeare did.
