You mean in any part of the tileset? But does it affect the other colors?

1) Use Irfanview and decrease the number of colors.
2) Uff, i think you can make it like you want, in black/white or in another palette, you can also do it with the NLZ GBA, where you can choose the correctly worldmap palette, so its usefull to take this...

Hi Haefele! Really nice tutorial on the World Map editing.
I just have 2 questions, if it's not too much trouble.
1) I try importing my correct size PNGs in Unlz but it says that I need to index them. How do I do this?
2) When I change world maps, do I keep the greyscale (black and white) or can I change it to color and then import that?

Hello there. I've been following your maps and, I must say, you've got quite a bit of talent there. I always look forward to checking the MRT in hopes of seeing another great map from you.
However, my reason for being here is not to praise you; it is instead to present a challenge. My challenge is the following: could you please make a map and submit it to the Map Rating Thread that contains only the tiles originally found in either Fire Red or Ruby? I've noticed that all of your maps use special tiles and, while they no doubt look beautiful, I consider it a challenge to map without new tiles. I've analyzed how you use these new tiles and it seems that without all of the varying types of scenery, your maps would be quite bare. You see, with only one flower, the bush, and the rock tiles, you'll find it is quite a lot more difficult to fill up space then when you have ten different flower-type tiles.
Anyways, if you could make a map using only the tiles found in Fire Red (or Ruby if you prefer), that would be nice. Consider it a challenge ;)
