Alright. First of all. Sorry for my late reply. I was somehow very reluctant to write a very long post up to now. XDD And maybe I can make you happy by saying we have a Rurouni Kenshin fanclub now?

Anyways, I was glad to have read/sean the manga now, and not so many years ago. I think I have appreciated more now than I would have then. I understood everything better, and anything was so intenser. :O

Yeah. =) And it's great how it shows in his eyes. Like when he was about to learn the Amakeru Ryuu no Hirameki, his eyes turned yellow, and then Hiko refused to teach him further. Kenshin's eyes stayed yellow until he realised that his life was worth more than he imagined it to be. When the rain fell/he cried/Sakura(?) cried, his eyes reverted back into their usual blue-purple. I find that very well done. =)
Oh, I'd love to have a Hiko one. XDD It'd be so adorable. x) I watched the episode with Fuji again not too long ago. He was just built out of cool. DX

I still find it odd that Saitou's Gatotsu, which can pierce almost anything, failed to pierce Shishio's head. |D It was shocking how Shishio than stabbed through his love Yumi to stab Kenshin as well. D:
Kenshin was nearly dead when he arrived at Aoiya. Good thing he has Sano to take care of him. ._. =)
Uhuh. =O Shows that Kenshin isn't -well what the anime makes you think- the best swordfighter out there. =/ My sister and I are now watching Seta's past. So the awesome battoujutsu is just around the corner. And did you know that Seta's sword was Okita's (the young figher from the Shinsengumi) sword?

Saitou's awesome. =I He always stays so calm, even when acting really evil, you just can't do anything else but love the guy. My sister admitted to like him as well. :O There really isn't anyone in the Series you can hate. Even Enishi's got his reasons to act like that. =/

Yup. Just this year. XD So, I'm like 14 years late. Yeah, so do I. 95 episodes and all the other things that come with it. o_o I just thought the ending was quite rushed. The 95th episode didn't make much sense to me. Since I was actually waiting for Tomoe to show up (I was spoiled of her existance, but nothing more), I thought "oh, this is wierd". Well, sometimes I do as well, but Kenshin really pulled me into his universe and refused to let me.
Yup, I have the blue one. Uhuh. And it's odd how he can change from one into the other so fast. And how his eyes show which one he is. Battousai's really scary, with very angular eyes, while the Rurouni's eyes are round. The Kenshin that learned the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki is a mix between both. Oh, really? I still want one though. And a Hiko one. >_> If that even exists.

Yeah, I wish they'd to that. And they're not that big, actually,they're very small. XD But I don't think they're very expensive. Oh, a Hiko statue. I WANT. And Saitou of course. He's good character with a bad personality, but that makes him just so awesome. And how he just manages to get on everybody's nerves. I consider Hiko to be a main character somehow, even if he only joins in for the Kyoto arc and a bit of the Shimabara Arc. No one can see past Hiko's awesomeness, no one.

Mwah, 4 years is decent. My friend first saw one episode of Kenshin about 7 years ago, and she thought it was awesome. Ever since then, she's been looking all over it to figure out what it was. And now she found it, and dragged me with her. XD

Yeah, that battle was great. How Kenshin refused to draw his Sakabatou, but how he had to in the end.
Aoshi is great. 8D He's my sister's favourite character (together with Sano). Yes, I'm dragging her with me as well. It's the first time she gets so excited about an anime. XDD
I really thought Saitou would pull it off, that he would be the one who killed Shishio, even though it was Kenshin who sould. Big surprise of course. *-*
Uhuh, he was scary. And very evil.
Yeah, it's nice how he is always smiling, makes him a pretty cheerful character on the outside. But he's got a really sad past. ;-; Waha, pokerface. XD He'd be annoying all his opponents with his innosense. Uhuh, it's kinda awesome. Kenshin rarely loses, and with the Juppongatana he's got so much trouble. ;D But that makes the battles worth to be remembered. Saitou vs Kenshin really is one of the most awesome battles there is.

Exactly. Hiko is a deo ex machina for the series, but gawd he's awesome. And he knows how to make an entrance. As Fuji swings his sword down towards Yahiko and everyone thinks he's dead, the dust cleares and Hiko stands there, blocking the giant's sword with his Katana.

Sano's really creative I must say. And indeed. I was kinda surprised to see Seta show up after Sano learned the Futae no Kiwami. "Oh no" I thought... But the fight turned out to be really great. My respect for Sano has only increased more.
But wasn't Kenshin's life on the line as well when he needed to master the final attack? I really wonder if Hiko would have killed Kenshin as he said. After all, he practically raised the man. =o

I got it for my birthday from a friend (who actually introduced me to Ruroken earlier this year. I owe her a lot for letting me borrow her Manga. I don't think I would have started on it otherwise, as I am not a regular Shounen watcher/reader. But I fell in love with Ruroken at first sight. Well, second. As I put the manga a bit on hiatus for over 2 months. But during the first two weeks of April I finished everything. o_o")
My Kenshin is in blue as well, I was surprised to see that someone on dA had the same plushie but with red clothing. Meh, I don't mind. I think blue suits him better anyways. Not to mention that I find Battousai slightly more interesting ^^"
Oh, I wish I had a Sano plushie, my friend (the same one as mentioned before) wants it as well. :3

The soundtracks are great. While I do not like every song in it, I must say some are wonderful. Such as "Succession Technique - Hitenmitsurugi Ryu", "Departure", "Kaoru and Misao", "Tsuki mo Naku, Hoshi mo Naku" (<-I hope I wrote that right), "Let it Burn" and many more.
As for the OVA soundtrack (which I'd love to actually own instead of on my pc), there are "In Memories - Kotowari" (OVA1) [Î love that song. *_*], "In the Rain" (OVA1), "War of the last Wolves" (OVA1), "Sound of Snow falling" (OVA 1), "Heart of the Sunrise" (OVA2), "Living Sin" (OVA2), "Eclipse" (OVA2), "Revenge of the Ghost" (OVA2), "Your own way" (OVA2). I actually like most of the songs, really. XDD

Yeah, I know where they sell them. But they are in "surprise boxes". You buy one box and you don't know which one of four is in it. So you can get Kenshin, Sano, Kenji (me thinks) and Enishi, but I'm not sure about it. Maybe I'll buy myself one to treat me for the beginning of the summer. :3
Yes, it was. Specially the first one. I also loved the drawing style of the OVA's. Maybe more than the actual Anime style. As for the second, despite me loving it, many people claim they hate it because of the -in their eyes- horrible ending. I absolutely loved the ending. Don't get me wrong, I would have prefered it otherwise, but still, I thought it was really beautiful. So simple, yet so touching. I couldn't stop crying when I watched it. I would love to rewatch it, but I'll do it when I have time to cry again. It was the first time an anime, or any movie for that matter, managed to make me cry that hard. :X
I may be brought to tears when something happens, but I rarely really cry.

I guess I was sold last week of march, when I was watching the beginning of the Kyoto arc (and started squeeling because of Hiko's awesomeness <- I did not just say that). I finished everything the third monday of April, so that's when I started to dig deeper in the Ruroken fandom, and I'm still completely sold.

Oh, Aoshi, of course, how could I forget him? Aoshi is great. I remember watching the episode where they (Sano, Kenshin, Saitou) are all fighting against Shishio and they are all KO. When all hope is lost, Aoshi shows up (I love his theme btw). And I had to stop... right... there. Aack! >.<
Seta... I don't know if I should love or hate him. XD
Hiko is pure awesomeness. I love his attitude. He's the strongest of all characters, and he knows it. XD

Saitou: He's got a great character, although a horrible personality. I like his badass attitude.

In terms of awesome badguys, Shishio is deffinitally high on the charts. I really don't like the guy, but I still think he's awesome. A real bad guy, not a lousy attempt at creating an evil character.

Yes! I'm now rewatching it for the 3rd time in row (with no other anime in between), and I keep loving it.
I have now one manga and the Ruroken Hiden (Guidebook), a Kenshin plushie (which I absolutely adore). I have the anime, movie, OVA, Soundtracks on my computer. I would love to have figurines and I know where they sell them. It's just that I don't know if I'm going to like them or not. There is a possibility you get Kenji though. 8D but then there's Enishi as well... not that I mind him. *drifts off*

Do you like the OVA's? I love them. Both the Tsuiokuhen (Trust and Betrayal) and the Seishouhen (Reflection), even though everyone hates the latter. ;-; And the music is so beautiful.
