  • Are you kidding me? I watch Adventure Time all the time! x) and Lemongrab always makes me crack up. We have a fan club here on PC as well for Adventure Time if you want to join. :)
A friend of mine has looked into our conversation, and he thinks your opinion is flawed/less-likely, because you're taking your hopes for seeing Midna in SSB way to seriously, as well as everyone else who does. Zelda only gets its reps based on relevancy, and the only characters who are relevant are Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Impa, Tingle, Toon Link, Toon Zelda, and Vaati. Midna, along with Majora, Zant, and Ghirahim, is a one-shot character, which means she'll never be in it because of her absence to the series since Twilight Princess. You will only hurt yourself if you keep convincing that she'll make it. You not liking SS is big deal for the company, for it's a sign that the franchise is going down fast if they don't keep older fans from leaving. You don't want it to be another Sonic do you?
Skyward Sword was far from being an bad Zelda title; it was trying to differentiate itself from the other titles after Twilight Princess was criticized by fans for being too much like OoT, even though said bashed WW for not being like OoT (hence why I mentioned the Zelda Cycle). Also, your love for Gen III (with the lack of knowledge of it being one of the most hated gens in the community) and cofidence in seeing Midna in SSB (did you even read the link I posted) only proves that you still have yet to learn.
Skyward Sword isn't awful, because the way you play it depends on what room you're playing the game in. If you're playing SS in a room with little space, then of course you'll have some trouble with the controls. The game went to surpass OoT, but Zelda fans like you turned it into something controversial than WW, much like how Pokemon fans made Gen V more controversial than Gen III. Midna will never be in SSB, because she isn't relevant to the series. This is what I hate about the majority of roster predictors, they never do their research on previous rosters nor think twice about suggesting characters who are either too obscure or lost its relevancy. Just look at this link: http://nintendo3dsdaily.com/nintendoarticles/nine-characters-who-wont-be-in-super-smash-bros-4-who-not-to-expect-come-e3-2013/
Because Ghirahim's master is *spoiler alert* Ganondorf's earliest incarnation, meaning we'll technically still have one of Nintendo's biggest villains. Zant is a one-shot Zelda character like Midna and Ghirahim, so that's why he wasn't used in Brawl. Also, SS isn't the worst Zelda console ever; that title belongs to Zelda II. The only people who dislike SS are those who hate motion controls, which are made up of inactive hardcore gamers who are too use to button mashing. Because of this, Ocarina of Time has yet to be dethroned by a modern Zelda title due to its broken fanbase, which will lead to the franchise's demise (just look at the Zelda cycle).
Every change done on a game franchise like Pokemon can affect which reps are allowed for the series in question for SSB. For example, Ganondorf's absent in the latest Zelda title, which means he'll be replaced by Ghirahim's master. The customization issue also applies to Fire Emblem, because it means Chrom will not be playable, for he is not "the" main character, it is your unit character, who is customizable and has no default design. Default designs aren't always canon, which is why the XY characters may not be used.
Do you even realize what you're saying, nor do you not know how popular the female trainers are compared to the male trainers who aren't Red? Doesn't matter if they have default designs, Sakurai would still not use the XY trainers and will another Pokemon Trainer who isn't customizable.
Because Sakurai may not allow characters, who are customizable from their series, in Super Smash Bros., which means the XY protagonists will not appear in SSB4 and will have to use another trainer. Leaf isn't canon to the series, so they can't use her as a gender swap with Red, which means Red will have to be replaced if we want to have a female trainer in SSB.
    Aw I'm sorry!
The deal with Meloetta is something that isn't known at the very moment. They had an event for her in Black and White that was exclusive to Japan, though. So far, there have been no further events in the world dealing with her in any of the games. :c
