i'll have to do that, then. i definitely feel limited in what i can do by not knowing anything asm, so that should be a requirement for me sometime in the future...

i mean, i know that a lot of it is possible without it. probably all of it is possible without the engine itself, i'm just not entirely sure i really get how you do it (read: every asm noob ever, including this person)
do you just use the tool to apply singular elements that you can't yourself (i.e. ow expansion)? i'm assuming that a lot of it isn't available publicly or that i'm just a total noob.
i know that you likely view my lack of motivation to learn as totally lazy, and that's totally understandable. there are no excuses that i can really give without sounding stupid. i just look at the asm in something like knizz's idb and then like die or something, it makes absolutely no sense at all... </3
and maybe that's just me? i don't know, ahaha...
and sorry for my little tangent there, i just sorta view you as someone i can talk to because you were an active part of the poketch community which sorta let me transition nicely into romhacking, so sorry for burdening you...
