Not complete but you can beat the game with a few tileset issues. and thanks! cheers. maybe 60fps, ill see yet. i dont have much motivation at the moment to work on this and i think it will be a while before i update again, but i appreciate it.

The map improvements, dialogue changes, new areas and trainer/wild pokemon changes extend to Goldenrod, but all trainers right now have level increases or are unchanged to better the curve, although this is subject to change. The whole game is complete-able, but no tweaks have been made...

Update... really enjoying map design and colours... let me know what you think.

Yep, specifically the 1.0 ROM. I'm releasing up to Ecruteak in the next week or so, but don't worry about save files as it should still be compatible.

It is much easier to achieve these sort of edits using the disassembly project, pokeemerald. It provides more customisability, and other great features :)

sounds very convoluted. disassemblies are the future, afaik
