  • I don't feel like learning songs about someone I learned about in 7th Grade (age 12-13).

No. Though UAE's Dubai and Abu Dhabi are pretty modern in the Middle East. Being American, I may be the target of anti-American violence, even in the UK, since some people aren't smart enough to realize that an American's government doesn't necessarily represent his or her views, especially if he's the type to travel abroad. Also, there's a lot of things that I'm used to as an American that just aren't done for some reason or another in many other countries, and as a non-native resident I have little hope for citizenship in most of those countries. Also, Australia has mandatory voting, which I think is counterproductive.

There are other places in America that are sort of growing, but they'd involve moving somewhere I do not know like the back of my hand.
    I don't really have a favorite.

Not as safe and fewer rights for me overseas. If I go anywhere it will be to the neighboring US state of North Dakota since they're having an oil boom and there's a labor shortage there. Though I don't actually have to leave my area since we are feeling the effects of their boom as the nearest truly major US city.
but I am known as rayrayrayrayray here if anything, not ray.

In any case, why do you think so little of yourself that you have to trick people into becoming your friends? What if I wanted to become your friend?
A lot of early Americans were folk heroes.

I dunno. Most major modern cities are more expensive than my major, modern city that I currently live in (Minneapolis, Minnesota). Also less jobs in most of them.
That's really freaking far. And if I go anywhere it'll probably be to some modern major city.
Where I'm at, 10 hours would probably get me out of the state in almost any direction, but my trips are usually 2-4 hours in drive time one way, sometimes 1-2 hours.
    Sometimes, but not particularly.

Actually, I do travel fairly often, just that most of my destinations don't even have me leaving my state.
Sounds like there may be a curfew instilled as well. Sounds like an interesting cultural immersion of sorts.
I'm just relaxing a bit now that my semester is over before going full-force on a job hunt.

    How about you?
