It really isn't so hard if you have the right moves equipped. You need a strong electric move such as Thunderbolt to take out Lorelei if your Pokemon aren't yet at high levels. For Bruno, all you need is a Pokemon with Drill Peck, Psychic, or Fly to deal with the Hitmons and Machamp, and...

hehehhe You're right about many Shinies being ugly, lol. However, considering how rare they are, chances are pretty even of snagging one that at least looks decent. I factor the golden sparkles into the attractiveness, though. :P

I think the transmigration idea is awesome. There is a game I played for a little while called "Legend of the Green Dragon", and you could start from level one again when you found and killed the dragon. Your character came back even stronger each time, but you had to earn it. ;)

I don't think that they affect Shedninja unless their element type is Super-Effective against it. Fissure = Ground, Horn Drill = Normal, Sheer Cold = Ice, etc.
