  • Hah, tell me about it. It's 6 years old now, but it outlasted all of my friends' laptops (and it was already 4 years old at that point).
I won't mention crashes anymore when it comes to bug reports.
Sorry, I got off for a bit to chat with a friend.
I don't think my computer can handle a Virtual Machine, It lags when I run console emulators, like Gamecube games.
I just got on my computer, I'm going to put the files on a USB.
EDIT: Never mind, my brother stopped me from using his computer. Viruses, he said.
That is weird, we even have the same vrsion and everything.
Well, I know how to get around it on my end, kind of, and I'll test I on Windows 8, see if it happens there too.
I have no clue. I could try to run the game on my brother's computer, a Windows 8. What version of Windows do you have? I have Windows 7 Home Premium.
Nah, that's fine, though the name isn't very descriptive.
Technically, moves are equipable skills, so --Custom-- could be called Skill Swap, or something like that.
    Move Switch?
By map loading, I mean if you walk and transfer maps, the game sometimes crashes.
So, it might not be shiftdashing that's causing the crash.
It might just be holding down a key. I'm not sure, but I did get past the loading zone exploit you had set up, while walking on the path, by slowly tapping the button to get past one tile at at time. All tiles load correctly.
It's possible to run away from the umbreon before he battles you, or at least far enough to reach the other room with the pokeball in it.
Cave tiles in your house are walkable.
There is a move that Minun has auto equiped called "--Custom--" that costs 30 (green) to use. It allows me to change my equipped moves.
All of the walls are walkable in squirtle's home
But I completed my first mission (Squirtle)!
The cutscene that is supposed to play when you complete that mission doesn't play immediately, I had to try to leave twice to get the whole thing to load. And It crashed after it finished, but it might be the holding down a key thing from earlier.
Well, the map loading bug is still in the game, if you walk on the path to the CRT Building (but it works on the way back.)
Shuffle bug is still in, once again only for Squirtle's Mission.
And the first new game breaking bug is an audio file failing to load in the diglett battle. "audio/bgm/Megaman%208%20%5BPSX%5D%20music%20boss%20intro.ogg"
My guess is the %20, %5B, and %5D (which represent a space, [, and ], respectively.)
This one is funny, if you "talk" to a pokeball from the side, It turns into a bed. And talking to the bed from the front turns it into a pokeball and from the top turns it into a Snow-Parichisu. The bed turns back into a bed when you stop talking to it.
I think the game crashes if I shift (dash) up to a doorway and interact with it.
At least pokeballs stay gone when you pick them up.
Do you have a WIndows Explorer window open to the folder's location?
You'll need to close it, in my experience.
Those features sound really cool, and I can't wait to try them.
And by drafts, I meant discarded VMs, like "Hey, Minun, how's the game coming along?" But then I erase it and try again.
Well to change the subject, how is your own project coming along?
I was going to ask, but all of my drafts felt too forward or impatient.
