Oh wow! That is a VERY outdated thread, I didn't even realize that old thread here was still open since it's from like 2005 or 2006 haha. Here is a link to the most recent thread on it, which still hasn't been updated in a while but it has the newest available demo anyway.

    http://www.pokemonhackersonline.com/showthread.php?t=14326-Pok-mon-Secrets-and-Rumours

As for PHO being a sister-site with Skeetendo, the answer is nope not really. PHO was a completely separate site that has gone down and come back several times. It was also called RHO (Rom Hackers Online) at one point as well. Twilight Hacking was something of a sister site though. Most of the older users on Skeetendo were originally memebers of Twilight Hacking (because Skeetendo was originally not a forum at all, it was just the name that Pyro and I used for our team when we started working on Secrets and Rumours). Then Twilight Hacking went down and I made a new forum called Skeetendo and we moved there. It was hosted on a free host though, so IIMarckus offered to host the forums on his site instead. That is when the current Skeetendo (hax.iimarck.us) came about. Then later Mr. Magius decided to bring back Twilight Hacking and a lot of people got annoyed because they didn't see a point in it and saw it as something of an "anti-skeetendo" or something. At the same time, Cartmic and I started a forum called Celadon Mansion. Then Twilght Hacking and Celadon Mansion merged together, keeping the Celadon Mansion name. And after that, Celadon Mansion merged with PHO. So I came in as "merged staff" at PHO, so I was basically a global mod. Then later the staff changed around a bit, and I was promoted to assistant admin, which is pretty cool.

So yeah, that's probably a lot more history than you were expecting today xD
Hi! Nope, not a moderator any more! I stepped down a little while back, because I'd gotten a bit too busy to do the job properly. It was only fair to let someone do it who could commit more. I'm just a regular Supporter of the site now, so I don't have any say in approving threads or posts, or anything like that.

You can still send me your game, sure, but I have no say about it at all, I'll only be able to say whether I like it, hahaha. :)

The reason I left Skeetendo is because I just don't really enjoy it there anymore. I know at one point I talked about leaving because of disagreements (that were later resolved and not an issue) but the reason I left was because I just didn't enjoy hanging out there anymore and so I gradually stopped coming.

It felt like 99% of the posts I would see when I signed in were either:
    - Pointless posts about nothing in particular
    - Posts asking for hacks to be uploaded as a .JAR file instead of an IPS patch
    - Hacks with no substance that didn't follow the hack thread guidelines (and usually uploaded as JAR)
    - People arguing with 80C

I got tired of coming to the board every day and not seeing anything I cared about, so since I wasn't a staff member anymore I just stopped coming. After a while, I decided to delete my hack showcase threads over there, because it seemed like the thing to do. When you googled any of my hacks, Skeetendo was the first link to come up, but it was no longer a link that I checked or updated. I wanted to make sure when people googled my hacks they found threads that would actually be up-to-date. So it was basically just a case of me losing interest in Skeetendo and spending more time in other places. I'm a staff member at PHO now so I spend more time over there, and I try to keep my thread for Pokemon Christmas actively updated over here as well since it is a larger community. I don't like "hate skeetendo" or anything, I just don't really enjoy it anymore so I stopped coming.

Also, can you link me to the Secrets and Rumours thread that has a broken link? I'll be happy to fix it.
If they appear pink ingame it must mean that you didn't change the block amount in the block editor, or you probably placed them somewhere where you can't put them (not on the actual tileset, but where you place your blocks for mapping).

It's kinda hard to explain but anyways, no I don't have x/y. I kinda stopped playing after dppt.
It's still the same name just abbreviated, and I didn't like the special characters in my name so I decided to change it.
The graphics actually have to be loaded between the time that check the box and then save the log. which means, you check the box, go into the grass and encounter a battle, then save the log.

I found this for emerald.:P Now look it up in GBA Graphics Editor and then see if you can find the table it goes in.
I'm unsure if those tiles are available for public use. You would have to talk to the guy who made that hack and ask him if you could use them. also could you show me those tiles you inserted? I'm interested to see how well you did them.
Sorry, I completely missed your last VM :P

Your thread wasn't accepted because I didn't feel like it met the standards of the forum. Introductions should be at least a paragraph long and should focus on introducing members to your team rather than introducing yourself to members. Try including things like whether your team is only going to consist of the best hackers or whether anybody can join regardless of skill level - Including descriptions like this will help give prospective team members an idea of what your team will be like.
I'm good, haven't been doing any hacking in ages though. I have university life, other hobbies, and such to keep me busy.
Sounds like a cool idea to me. Personally, I don't feel like playing anything that doesn't have anything exceptional in it though. But it goes fine as a minor feature. Scripting and programming skill is the thing though :)
I have only done it on FR. I have no idea for Emerald, but if you can find the images, it shouldn't be too hard. Try using the logging feature in VBA to log all BIOS calls, and search for SWI 0x12 (LZ Decompression). The results contain the offsets of all images loaded to the screen as they load.
Feel free. If you wouldn't mind, post all of you findings (like tables offsets and stuff) on the end of the thread. I'll add them in so others can use them.:)
I'll probably be more active starting december so if you're still around then I could help you if you like.
I've been just as inactive as you. I don't have much time to continue ROM hacking or using PC for that matter.
That's very very strange. However, because you mention that PPRE breaks the game too (and it shouldn't unless you mess around with scripts), that makes me think that the ROM you are using may be a bad dump. Nobody else has reported an error like this one, and if it were an error only in SDSME the game would behave fine after using PPRE. So please try changing the ROM and get a release from another site, and then tell me if it still breaks the game. Thank you!
