I've only done one challenge with a ROM and it was only because I would have had to have two of the same Pokemon if I wanted a full team, so I did that St. Patrick's Day challenge on Gold and Emerald. And lol true, but if it were a Pokemon not native to that region, he b mad. ;)

It's hard to explain, but it gets addicting once you learn lol. It's basically abusing the game's random number generator so that you can get Pokemon with desired IVs, abilities, genders, shininess, the works.

You do that. -puts on some shades- I'mma watch. Or get inspired to join. You think he counts RNGs as hacked? kekeke...

I think he might have felt threatened by the fact that I said I'd lock it, lol. But either way, that's good enough. I think it's silly that the hacked in Pokemon have a different list, but it'll suffice. It's like you're outcasts though. It makes me wanna hack a Pokemon into the game so that the hacked list will get filled quicker than the legit one lol.

Good. I was looking at it and couldn't help but notice how strict it was, and I was concerned that he had no updates of his own. :/ Apparently that's in the works though. I think you might be able to change his mind about it, but if not, I'll intervene. I'm kind of disliking how strict he's running it. I mean, I like my challenges to be within the rules too, but damn...I ain't THAT bad, lol.

As far as trade evolving, it's not possible to link on No$. I either use Pokesav to simply edit the pokemon, or (preferred) I use an evolution editor, which is how I get those screenshots. There's different ones for 4th and 5th gen, you should be able to find them with google/4shared.

Would like to request that you update the solo challenge thread, please.

If you're trying to insert a script then I'd suggest using the built-in functions of XSE or PKSV (which ever your choice is). By writing '#dynamic 0x800000' or '#dyn 0x800000' respectively. This sets an address in the ROM from where the the tool will instantly start to search for free space. If you're using FR then 0x800000 is a good adress to start from as there is tons of free space from that point onwards - Sorry, but I don't know R/S/E's best starting offset off the top of my head.

I would advise against deleting/ overwriting scripts that are already within the game unless you know what you're doing.

when you post your completed colors, put down what game you did them on. You did Purple for Kanto, but which game did you play?
