For making Money I beat the Ellite Four. And I have an Item I think which was called Coin Amulett. (or a kind of) If you use the Pokemon that holds it you get 100 Percent more money at the end of a battle.

Yes I think if you play Pokemon really good (beat many trainers) no Gym will be difficult. The Elite Four is the hardest 'Gym' for me.

I always loved Kanto and Jotho. The newer ones are not so good. But I would have a mix of ALL Regions of Pokemon. (Kanto, Jotho, Hoenn, Sinnoh)

Groudon + A Grass Type that knows Solar Beam Groudon's Ability -> Changes Weather to Sunny. Groudon Attacks -> Solar Beam Grass Type -> Solar Beam (If the enemy is a Rock Type :D)
