I don't nickname anyone because it ruins the point. I like to keep it at the normal name.

i hate nicknaming pokemon and i hate pokemon with nicknames

I've nicknamed one or two Pokémon in the past, usually on Silver.

I tend to avoid nicknames altogether because I suck at them. I either come up with something unoriginal and terrible that's worse than it's normal name or I name it something a little *too* flamboyant and end up getting confused/forgetting who's who.

lol where do i start? well all my pokemon nicknames are made with me knowing what all the final evolution looks like, or having a good idea what their abilities are.

hah some of em are more humorous nicknames than cool nicknames, like a tiny little Aron called "Tank", or Rayquaza "Vertigo" because of its attack "Outrage", and oddish "MJ" too.

I usually realtae the nicknames with interesting and funny stuff. For example, for snorlax "fat guy", and i even nicknamed my hitmonlee "captain falcon" because of his moves, lol.

Mmm, I've nicknamed a few Pokemon before. Don't do it anymore though. The ones I remember are:

Beautifly : Bibie
Goldeen : Greg (I traded it for a Rayquaza later)
Magikarp : Maggie (Eww)
Staravia : Starstreak
Grotle : Leafcrest

I would name a Pokémon if it is dear to me or after a hard training. I wouldn't name an insignificant Bidoof or Magikarp for just capturing it. >=O

The first time a played pokemon blue, i nicknamed all my pokemon, by the time i reached Blaine, i realized that that was a bad thing, in my box, it took me forever to find my pokemon, i just do it occasionally now, I have Zero(Swampert), Victor(Skarmary) and Iro(Scizor).

I don't like nicknames...I don't give nicknames to my pokemons.
