Indeed. I feel like in general people really underestimate the career life of some footballers. And I'd agree, really. I just find myself trusting Friedel over Lloris. Tho honestly I'd trust a lot of goalies right now. There's some really massive talent going around. De Gea, Hart, Cech and Szczęnsy all spring to mind - and that's just at the top end! Indeed, De Gea delivered one of the greatest performances I've ever seen from a goalie a while back when United were playing Real Madrid (iirc).

Yeah, he's reallllly old for a footballer. Something like 41 now, I think? And people say players like Parker and Van Persie are getting on. Not that I'm complaining, though; he's a fiiiiine goalie. B)

Haha, I wasn't really being serious. Bad a Spurs fan as this'll make me sound, I tend to take greater issue with Chelsea than Arsenal these days anyway.

I guess the silver lining is that some of our other players are gonna get the opportunity to show us what they can do now. Vertonghen, Siggurdson and Defoe (when he comes back) are all fairly dangerous potentially and even Adebayor is when he works. Thill get interesting now.

Confirmed that he's out for the whole season, is it? Real shame that. I didn't even think his injury was that nasty but... guess I was wrong. We'll survive, definitely, but it'll be hard work from here on in that case. He was right at his peak too. Shame.
