Exactly, but the press start is not important. You can still play the game and that's what really matters.

I did my title screen today but just saying that once you do it there may be a tile error on it but I can make it blend in. Once you do it there is no press start or anything.

Try updating Safari? Maybe try a different browser, if possible? I'm not sure if Pokemon Showdown works properly on the iPad. For example, the chat is usually not visible on a mobile browser. PS probably doesn't support iPad, but you could try asking for help here.

No an untouched fire red has 412 in it so im add more to make a total of 493

They hold all of the info of the pokemon inside before it even hatches.
thats why when you give an egg the game slows a bit because of all the data being stored.

No problem! Let me know if you have any other questions. :) And idk why really. Probably because Sapphire was the first main game I beat, and it's more nostalgic to me than other regions. Though there's also a lot of sidequests and such I like in Hoenn, like the Trick House.

It depends on the game and who made the challenge. For example, most people consider GSC finished after beating Red, but some challengers don't require you to beat him and only require beating Lance. But I'm sure all of them require at least the Elite Four to be beaten in order for the challenge to be complete. That specific one though, idk off the top of my head. You'd have to check the rules in there to find out.

Really now? Well, it does involve restarting one of your Pokemon games, so assuming you're prepared to do so...basically, you play through a Pokemon with certain restrictions or gimmicks, like using one type, Pokemon of a certain color, or even one Pokemon. Depends on what you sign up for. :) Were there any challenges you were interested in specifically?
