  • Hello! I have a question about your dynamic overworld palette hack.. I understand that it still uses the original palette table and only loads the specific palettes when needed, but how exactly does that work? Like at first I thought it was a way to add more overworld palettes in general, giving you a wider range of palettes for your overworlds.. Does it do something like this? I guess what I'm asking is what it fixes/benefits (sorry I just didnt understand the wording). Thanks :P
For your Dynamic OW Palettes hack, it basically just uses the old table (or an extended one) and makes all of the palettes only load when needed, unlike in vanilla where everyjing is concrete or am I understanding this entirely wrong?
Do you have the source ASM for your event dependent map music routine? I would like to modify it a bit to implement a certain "clause" that I'm going to need for my hack. Basically what I'm gonna do is, if the bank and map are 0xFF, the song is changed for all maps. Thanks.
I think you should... As a fellow hacker that also encountered the same issue, i've started over one time and made backups from time to time..
I think you've just scrambled with the mrds base, why won't you redo things on a new base to ensure stability?
Oh, it was that hahaha. Thanks a lot for this man ;)

I'm trying to finish some kind of PokéGear and I needed something like this for keeping the radio music without changes until you turn it off or you come into a house xD.
Hey, I'm going to try your routine for alternative tracks played on maps, but I have a doubt. You say that "Vice versa, if more than one condition would be met, only the first track will be loaded.". Does that means that I can't play more than two different tracks on a map (the original and the alternative)?

I mean, can I put a track if the variable is 1, and another (for the same map) if it has value equals 2??

    Thanks in advance ;)

Oh... Thanks , anyway. I'm learning asm these days.

Hi Navenatox ! I saw that you were viewing Shiny Quagsire's document on replacing the GameFreak intro using Asm. Do you know how to code your own intro ?
Hey, I fixed your post so it shows the video properly. The way you use the tag is like so:
