  • Mini-modding is when you try to do a moderator's job, ie telling people off in a thread for breaking the rules (when you could just report that person). Mini-modding is generally looked down on, as they look like suck ups, and nobody likes a suck up.
    1. I come online every day, not always via a computer. An hour or so each day.
    2. I felt like a change.
    Cool.
And you know there are some very good drawing tutorials online if you want to draw.
    P.S. What's mini-modding ?
    Smile.
I wish. Sadly I'm not very artistic. No, it's an enemy from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. According to the Super Mario Wiki, it's called a "Nep-Enut".
Well, yes it can be something of a chore. But I still like to talk with the people on these forums. After all, I can't talk about pokémon with my real-life friends.

Honestly, that's really no business of yours.
You blatantly were questioning me lol ^

I just gave you your reasoning. Just curious why you'd say something like you did if you actually do read. It's actually quite interesting and not odd at all.
You're questioning my mannerisms and interests on a forum for no apparent reason. I'm disinclined to acquiesce your reasoning. It is a fantasy novel, thus the themes are euphonious in a sense that they do not directly inherit the strange genre of progressive politics. Catcher in the Rye is about a teenager and his angst and rebellion, odd is it not to read about another teens uninteresting life, just as it is to read something like the book I have read? Not really, that's how books work. Ever read one?
Threads don't have to be closed after 30 days, if they aren't posted it. It was fine the way it was. :/ But reviving the thread, by posting in it after that time frame, warranted its closure.
Hm, depends on your definition of "worth" and how existential you want to be. Sure, nothing really matters in the broad scheme of things but I enjoy both activities, if that's what you mean. Hacking is fun; I enjoy figuring out how things work and subsequently changing them. Getting a custom feature to work for the first time is quite a feeling and I like that sense of accomplishment. As for being a moderator, it's not like I'm going to put "moderator of an Internet Pokémon fan community" on my résumé. But I like to think of it as the culmination of a long time spent helping people out and being a respectable member. Even if I don't benefit directly from being a moderator, at least I've learned how to be a nice guy. And I've met some irreplaceable friends along the way. That's worth something isn't it? I think it is.
    /chiming because that's what i do best

Yes, hacking is worth it. It's a hobby, nothing more really. It's for fun. If it's not fun, if you're finding it tedious, stop. You're doing it wrong.
I think you're reading a little bit too much into it. ;)
Look, it's the internet, and furthermore, it's Pokemon. I like both, therefore I like what has come of it (ie, becoming interested in hacking- though you couldn't really call what I do 'hacking'- and my being modded). If people don't like aspects of either, I really don't care. (Of course I do try to be a good mod, though- I just worry about criticism when it's delivered in an appropriate way, as opposed to people bad-mouthing me for nothing). But hacking, meh, I couldn't care less how many people like my work when I post it. Sticks and stones can't even reach the 'shell of my username', and words can never breach it, so yeah, it's totally worth it.
I'm fifteen I'm not even legal to have a job. But yeah, it's worth it, because when juice comes to squeeze everybody needs something in their life that they can turn to when the going's tough.

I guess not, since the last post was made almost 2 years ago...
