  • Sorry, I don't have PO installed at the moment - just got a new computer and need to set some stuff up on it first. ^^
I currently have this as a core seeing as Dusclops might be the best user of Gravity and works well with Tentacruel. I heard I need a ground move check so a grass type would be nice but I dont know what works well with this. I don't nesscarily have to run hydro pump or Blizzard but without them what is the point of a gravity team? Maybe I can run a more bulky ev spread because I forgo the weaker scald/ice beam?

I think if I know my pokemon right I am very solid with stall based team since I can spin thier spikes away and my toxic spikes will hit bar steel and poison types. I also really hate bulky waters/setup pokemon.

    Tentacruel (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Rain Dish
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Blizzard
    - Hydro Pump
    - Rapid Spin
    - Toxic Spikes

    Dusclops (M) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Gravity
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Pain Split
    - Night Shade
It seems like it would work. Most teams I are way too offensive for my style. I think with gravity being it has a mix of dedicated sweepers (Spamming a 100% accurate earthquake and high powered moves like stone edge) and the set er upers like dusclops. It would really be nice to use WoW and actually hit it. That is mostly why I want to run this type of team. I don't know whether I want to start of using a defensive core of gravity sweepers who check most threats in the meta or start off with a sweeper. Sweeper wise I was considering Nidoking because he has key resistances and with his sheer power + LO + Gravity he actually is a king. Also it could be just me but I was talking to my irl friend (xxspeedy if you remember him from back in the day) but do you have a move that just hates you? For me that would be focus blast because I think every time I needed it to ever hit it would miss. Waterfall loves me though because I always get the flinch when I need it.
Personal preference caused me grief when all I could do was watch Dragonite use a not very effective attack when it had a super effective attack hahaha

I think I'm just gonna switch out Dragon Claw and play some battles with both a Lum Berry and Leftovers and see which one works out better :P
On a note actually about the game this time:

    Currently I'm running this set:
    Dragonite @ Lum Berry
    Multiscale & Jolly
    252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    Dragon Dance
    Outrage
    Earthquake
    Fire Punch

I'm thinking about switching Outrage out for Dragon Claw? I realize there's a major power difference but if EQ and OHKO most of the game after a DD, I feel like STAB Dragon Claw should be able to as well. That and being locked in has screwed me over a few times. If I do change I'm also considering replacing Lum Berry with Leftovers to keep Multiscale fresh? Lum Berry is currently a great way to recover from Outrage but if I switch to Dragon Claw, well, you get the point. But another counter-point is the fact that a lot of people expect Dragonite to hold something else that's not a Lum Berry, so while they're busy trying to status me, I get a free turn to use DD. Thoughts and suggestions?
Ahhhhhh I see. No monopoly. Gotcha. Then I shall go wait patiently and quietly. and Study some more metagame in the process haha
Not trying to sound impatient but it might come off as so: This is the longest I've ever had to wait for a thread to be accepted haha
ooka why does colour NEVER set for PO ever ever I'm the only person with this issue and it saddens me you really need to fix this for me. AND I KEEP TRYING EVERYTHING I CAN!!!
Okay so Bulky DDnite. now I need a spiker that isn't ferrothorn and 2 pokemon that cover those weaknesses.
Hmm Rotom-W really checks alot of things. So I would like to play a volt switch and a U-turn scizor for sure.
