  • Um, because it doesn't? From what I remember I wasn't much a fan of the writing style and wasn't that intrigued by the story.
Well, thing is... I picked it up once and read a few pages and then went off to do something else because it just did not appeal to me.
Well most comic strips as cartoons for one. Lots of anime as TCGs- InuYasha card games were ridiculous. Twilight didn't work as a book and now it's an everything. Lots of brilliant books could never work as movies. Many a book and play should have never become a film. Things should stay in their original format for the most part really.
idk what I'm really saying is that it actually properly works in any format. Most stuff doesn't.
Like taking things and adapting them into tv shows and movies and novelizations and basically making a franchise out of it. Pokémon is one of the few things that is way over-adapted but somehow still works in basically every format.
No they were never any good. Only Calvin & Hobbes, but that ended when I was 2. I only know it through the compilation books.
Not really, no. Like newspaper comics, right? I live in the States so the humour is really dull, overused and basic. None of the quirky vibrancy that webcomics tend to have.
I don't keep up. I mean if I can't keep track of webcomics that update thrice a week, how 'm I gonna deal with one that updates irregularly with massive gaps?
Yeh, basically. And I read so much stuff it's hard to keep the storylines sorted in my head.
I used to be big on webcomics but then I didn't feel like keeping up on 'em anymore. I like things more when I can read or watch things with story straight through, and things without story usually don't appeal to me a ton.
