Anyway, I just glanced at Pokemon Online and the PC server appears to be down, so as soon as it's back up I'd love to battle! That would be really awesome. :D

I'll agree with that.

It's the combination of the story and the battling that makes Pokemon.. well, Pokemon. :)

So, do you play on Pokecommunity's server on Pokemon Online?

It's not that I don't enjoy it.. it's just that the whole, "friendship is forever," shtick got pretty old for me. However, I would like to say, I do think the storyline of B/W had much more depth than the previous games.

I mean.. with Red/Blue it's nostalgic and almost a novelty. But as for the later games, I just always feel like I'm grasping for more, you know? With each game I can't help but to want something that's directed at a more mature audience. When it comes down to it, I suppose I always like the battling more than the story. But that's not to say that one is more important or better than the other.

That's kind of a hard question.

I buy them and I'll play them. Yes.
But I'm not very invested in the storyline or any other aspects of in-game play. I do EV train my Pokemon and breed for IVs and natures to make teams, but I don't go anywhere with it, if that makes sense.

I don't think I've seen you on Pokemon Online.. (unless I don't know your screen name). Do you use PO or battle over Wifi?
