Oh ok. I was kind of comparing it to attacks that pretty much say the same thing. Like if Zoroark used Reshis Blue Flare, but Zoroark didn't have any fire energies on it, so it can't do that attack. Or is that alright to do too?

I believe there is a thread on here that says which series are legal and which ones aren't. I do believe that it's only Black & White and up now though. So any starter deck that's "Black and White" would be good to get.

Maybe there is someone you know that has a lot to give? Or maybe someone at a league you could trade with? That's how I got most of mine, but they are all holo and I had to trade a few boosters to get them. But that could be another way to get energies.
