Saves RAM because you only have one instance of PC's assets. And since PC is based on vBulletin, there is a lot of bulk HTML and CSS that's slow and inefficient (i.e. <table> and friends). Since I'm just scraping the site, I'll grab the page, extract what I want, and discard the rest. The base CSS will probably be fairly modernist too, so it'll likely have less computational complexity. Fewer CPU cycles naturally follows.
On the topic of CSS, I'll probably let you write your own custom themes and submit them for everyone to use.
