Drafted some UIs. This is going to be great.

Saves RAM because you only have one instance of PC's assets. And since PC is based on vBulletin, there is a lot of bulk HTML and CSS that's slow and inefficient (i.e. <table> and friends). Since I'm just scraping the site, I'll grab the page, extract what I want, and discard the rest. The base CSS will probably be fairly modernist too, so it'll likely have less computational complexity. Fewer CPU cycles naturally follows.

On the topic of CSS, I'll probably let you write your own custom themes and submit them for everyone to use.

So since I have nothing else to do on this tour bus, I'm just going to do some planning. So far I have:

PCV: Pokecommunity Viewer

background auto-refresh (15 seconds?), chime on notification
single page app - no page refreshes and stupid flashes
thread viewing and posting functionality
mobile friendly
multiple threads can be viewed/auto-refreshed at a time
infinite scroll threads instead of more page reloads
clicking on a username produces a small modal with short info and VMs, so you can keep browsing your threads

This design will make data load faster and also save RAM and CPU.
