  • Well, there's Mt.Rhode and Vencrown City.

We need a name for; the Stadium, a beach and a forest.

I was thinking that we could call the forest 'Era Wood', but apart from that I can't think of another name...
He was right, it was a mistake. As the dust cloud faded, Jolteon had began to ponder back to its owner, and Haunter lay crippled inside the ridiculously deep crater. How could a Ghost-Type cause so much physical damage? It raised one hand vainly, but it soon slumped back to the floor.

"Good job kiddo..." GrifSpark mumbled to his Pokemon.

He was visibly upset, but GrifSpark tried his best to stay calm... Enough. He stumbled over to his Pokemon, then tapped it lightly with the Duskball it had been caught it. GrifSpark then turned his head up to look at RayMav, and he smiled.

    "I'll beat'cha next time..."
GrifSpark was starting to worry. It seemed like RayMav still thought it was part of GrifSparks plan, far from it. This was getting out of control, but maybe he could use it to his advantage.

    "Haunter, reverse it with ShadowBall!"

Haunter kept the Dark-Hole as controlled as possible, but then fired a Shadowball into it, launching Haunter into the sky faster than Celebi can time-travel. GrifSpark was amazed, that wasn't what he'd expected, but it could work. Time for something a little more unorthadox.

    "ShadowPunch!"

The Ghost/Poison-Type dropped from the sky just as fast as went up, and instantly GrifSpark regretted his idea. Another dust-cloud appeared from the strike, but it may have been too much for Haunter to take. Unless it had hit Jolteon, softening the blow, then there was no chance of him still being conscious...
(He's nearly dead, trust me on that. Just want him to go out on a bang! Now let's do something really stupid!)

GrifSpark was completely lost, he couldn't see a single thing, but now he felt that Jolteon could. Haunter would be on his last legs, and was going down, quickly... There was no-way he could win, but if he was going down, he'd drag RayMav down with him.

    "Haunter, overcharge DarkPulse!"

GrifSpark could see the glow of the attack now, much more vibrant than last time. And the fog had to be twice as thick as the cloud of smoke, and then GrifSpark noticed that the fog was being re-absorbed back into Haunters DarkPulse. It was creating a miniature black-hole.

"Haunter, stop!" GrifSpark ordered, Haunter seemed to be in pain, and blinked twice in succession to acknowlage the order.

Haunter tried to stop, but the attack was becoming too powerful. It had lost complete control of the attack, and it was working on its own accord. GrifSpark held onto his hat, the "Dark-hole" was beginning to suck in everything.

    This could be interesting...
    "Haze..."

GrifSpark muttered, loud enough for Haunter to hear, but hopefully not RayMav. The shadow that was once Haunter erupted into a thick cloud of icy-smoke, causing the whole stadium to be coated with fog. GrifSpark could barely see his hand infront of his face, so he hoped that Jolteon couldn't either.

    "PoisonJab!"

While no human could see clearly through the fog, Haunter clearly wasn't human.
"Ultimate move, eh? I was thinking much the same"

The Ghost/Electric-type Earthquake was rumbling back to Haunter, at much the speed it was shot first. Now was the time for another shot.

    "ShadowSneak, once more"

Jolteon had a natural talent for speed, but so did Haunter, and ShadowSneak was one of the fastest move usable. Once again Haunter vanished, revealing just a shadow, which side-stepped the VoltShadow, then smashed into the Jolteon clones, each shattering at a hit. The clones were becoming a problem, he needed to remove them, and this was how.

    "ShadowPunch!"

Haunter burst from the shadow, then burst at one of the Jolteon. It didn't matter whether it was the real one of not, but the Shadowpunch/Shadowsneak was fast, and unmissable. It was perfect.
Jolteon had stopped firing Thunder, but had now made getting near the stadium floor a big no-no. Haunter still held the ShadowBall in his palm, which was now supercharged with electrical energy, perfect.

    "Haunter, fire VoltShadow!"

GrifSpark had used many combination attacks before, and VoltShadow was one of them. Usually performed when GrifSparks Electabuzz was on the field, but Jolteon worked just as well. Haunter released the ball of darkness energy which flung from his hand like a bullet, but it didn't hit Jolteon. It slammed into the ground, causing a wave of thunder and darkness to erupt from the ground, which headed towards the group of Jolteon like an Earthquake.

"Yeah!" GrifSpark yelled as he punched the air.
He had to admit, RayMav was a fantastic trainer, using a combination of Haunter's OminousWind and Jolteon's electricity to use a make-shift MagnetRise. GrifSpark couldn't see himself winning this...

Use ShadowBall to fend off Thunder!"

Haunter created a small sphere of dark energy between its hands, and prepared for the incoming Thunder. The attack struck Haunter's palms, using ShadowBall to collect some of the energy, but not all of it. About half of the electricity refracted off the ShadowBall and hit random parts of the arena, many hitting Haunter.

"Keep it steady Haunter!" GrifSpark yelled, trying to keep Haunter's spirits (No pun intended) up.

The GrifSpark had an idea, but he'd have to wait for Jolteon's Thunder to break.
GrifSpark was overjoyed, it was an even playing field now. But now Jolteon was readying another Discharge, back to his old tricks.

    "OminousWind!"

The blast of ghostly air darkened the arena once again, and it extinguished the fire that was beginning to burn Haunter. Giving him a breath of fresh; if not creepy, air. But more signs were starting to show that Haunter was weakening. The OminousWind began to faulter as the foe's Discharge edged slowly closer. He'd have to use Haunter's speed to his advantage.

    "Haunter, go up again!"

Which Haunter did, hoping to dodge the incoming electricity.
Haunter was losing control, but so was GrifSpark, this was going to be a grim end. The Jolteon Haunter had used PainSplit on vanished as soon as it was hit, just another clone.

    "Hold still Haunter"

Haunter did, as he was ordered. Usually he could tell what his master had planned, but not this time, he'd just have to hope the boy knew what he was doing. Unfortunatly, he didn't, GrifSpark was about to make it up as he went along.

    "FirePunch!"

Rather than just Haunter's hand setting a-flame, the whole of the Ghost-Type Pokemon did. The first sign he was weakening. The Gas-Pokemon charged forward at the Grovyle, slamming its whole body into the foe. Haunter was hanging on to this battle by a thread, and he planned on going out with a bang.

"Hmm..." GrifSpark muttered as the Haunter pulled its hand back for a second strike.
Haunter stood paralysed, as thousands of volts of electricity burst through his gaseous body. GrifSpark was beginning to panic, he had to win this. But as if from no-where Haunter was struck once again by Pursuit in its (Hypothetical) back.

"Haunter, use..." GrifSpark struggled to think of a move that could save him, and then it hit him like a rocket. "Use Painsplit on Jolteon!"

Haunter began to glow a simalier purple he did earlier, and so did Jolteon. As long as Jolteon used Thunder, Haunter would just be draining the foes health, keeping it at a simalier level of health.

GrifSpark just smiled, but said nothing.
    "Damn..."

GrifSpark really expected the attack to do more damage than it did, but atleast it lowered the amount of clones around the arena. But now they were preparing a combo, this would have to end quickly...

    "Haunter, ShadowSneak!"

The Gas-Pokemon evapourated into thin-air, leaving nothing but a ghostly shadow of the Pokemon which still remained. At which point, the shadow darted towards RayMav's Pokemon at an insane speed, which struck Jolteon. It then began to recoil off the sides of the stadium, smashing into Jolteon repeatedly.

"Yeah..." GrifSpark muttered as he grinned to himself.
He was right, the dust was clearing. But it didn't matter now, Haunter was ready to strike.
    "Haunter, DarkPulse!"

The Ghost-Type took a second to cackle at the foe, then it released a huge shock-wave of dark energy at the Grovyle and Jolteon. It caused the arena to go pitch black for a moment, blocking GrifSpark's veiw. Had RayMav been able to work away around the attack, or had it been a perfect shot?

    "Let's rock..."
RayMav's Jolteon had tried to light up the stadium with Flash. It had removed the after effects of OminousWind, but Haunter was still hidden in the dust cloud, which should provide enough cover.

    "Haunter, prepare to strike"

Haunter knew what he meant, he'd used this tactic before, and it worked... Usually. GrifSpark could swear he saw the faint glow of Haunter prepare its move, but the light dissapeared almost instantly, a sign he used to tell his master that the attack was ready.

    "Now we wait..." He muttered.
Haunter struggled to hold the OminousWind. Discharge it could deal with, but with the added LeafStorm it looked grim. GrifSpark had to think quickly and aggresively. And then it came to him, so he executed the attack.

    "Haunter, go up!"

The Ghost-Type broke off its attack, then shot into the sky, its speed increased by the usage of OminousWind. Haunter examined the foe, waiting for the perfect moment, he knew exactly what his master was planning, and it should work. He was near invisible, mainly due to the fact that the arena was now coated in a thick shadow.

    "Haunter, drop with a ShadowPunch!"

Within seconds Haunter had fallen from the sky and smashed its hand into the stadium floor, kicking up a sheild of dust, giving Haunter even move cover.

    "Haunter, hide!"
