  • Hope ye had a nice Christmas :) And may 2013 be way better than 2012 and filled with joy.
Hmm, not sure how I will be able to. I don't have Skype, but that's not the issue.

Lucky you! We get close to no snow in this forsaken land. Only in the highest mountains. :(
I have no classes in January, but 3 exams in two weeks. And I just got a new laptop. So I'd like to know where will I get the will to study...
Happy Doomsday to you too :) This isn't so bad, at least the afterlife has Wi-Fi internet so I'm cool with it :P /jk

True. It makes you get used to said language. I haven't had many opportunities to practice my spoken English because, well, I've never ventured out of this forsaken country.

And bad news. I was supposed to do only one exam in January, but I will have to do three. :'( Bye winter break.
I don't really struggle with it, but I know several people who do.

That would be right! There's only the accents missing (in "Olá" and "estás") but I guess your keyboard doesn't have those :p
Born in? You don't live there anymore?
There are several differences in the structure, mainly the grammar. And the fact that in English there are several cases of one single word having 45635353 meanings depending on the context they are in, which doesn't happen in Portuguese.

    I'd be happy to :P
Hmm, what country are you from?
D'oh! I don't think I can explain what Portuguese is like. The only way I could do it would be showing you sentences or videos of people speaking it, but you wouldn't understand a thing.

That happens with some people. I seem to have more affinity to them, I don't know. It's the difference between people :P
I learned English fairly quickly - the Pokémon and Age of Empires games helped a lot on that when I was younger (like 8-9 years old), hehe - but any other language was just like... blaargh. I'm horrible at French even though I've had 3 years of that thing and I don't even know most of the basics. And I understand Spanish reasonably well only because it's close to my native language - along with 2 years on the subject in school to understand some differences. Though speaking it is a different matter - I mix it with Portuguese a lot while speaking, lol. And it becomes the language we Portuguese call "Portuñol" xD

I'm nice at maths and like it but only to a certain extent - when it gets to the point that you almost have to prove that 1+1 is 2, or that the R space is different from the R squared, it gets on my nerves. The only thing I care about is the stuff I need to understand the Physics, not the proof that such results are algebrically legal. What matters to us is that it works.
I hardly check my e-mail - only when it's to check school-related stuff lol. It has around like 300+ unread messages so yeah xD

I'm not a big fan of having to stay in front of books for several hours as well - but at least it's not Biology. I was always a guy for Maths and Physics, mainly the latter - And I got an easy grasp for stuff back then but since Uni started it got significantly harder. It's just loads and loads of stuff I have to learn in a few months time. Sometimes I just go "**** this" and lay off to games or music. Or both. Sometimes it did good - other times I did it at the wrong time and... well.
That happened to me as well - but I'm having a hard time. It's a really different working and studying rhythm. Even after a year and a half I'm still getting used to it.

Me too :) Exams are coming but I will always have a few minutes to hop around the internet and so we can talk :p
I was used to decently nice grades, and all of a sudden being hardly able to pass on most subjects and failing at two... It's still new to me. Specially being something I like to study.

I know that feel. Not being able to enjoy a bit of free time because of schoolwork. Good to know you're okay and still around :)
I've been fine - Uni's taking a huge toll on my life, it's been really hard work. And still I failed at two subjects.

What about you? You vanished all of a sudden.
I was able to nickname all but the Cryogonal as I had RNGed him when I RNGed a different ID/SID combo and no longer have that one available at the moment. Hopefully that's not an issue. In any case your Pokemon are ready to go so just get with me ASAP
Just reminding you again, delete your QT request since it's filled so you don't get another offer. :)
