I learned English fairly quickly - the Pokémon and Age of Empires games helped a lot on that when I was younger (like 8-9 years old), hehe - but any other language was just like... blaargh. I'm horrible at French even though I've had 3 years of that thing and I don't even know most of the basics. And I understand Spanish reasonably well only because it's close to my native language - along with 2 years on the subject in school to understand some differences. Though speaking it is a different matter - I mix it with Portuguese a lot while speaking, lol. And it becomes the language we Portuguese call "Portuñol" xD
I'm nice at maths and like it but only to a certain extent - when it gets to the point that you almost have to prove that 1+1 is 2, or that the R space is different from the R squared, it gets on my nerves. The only thing I care about is the stuff I need to understand the Physics, not the proof that such results are algebrically legal. What matters to us is that it works.
