I know, when I got those villain events when I was visiting Tokyo, everyone wanted proof. I was like, "I was on vacation, do you think I was that pumped to remind myself to take proof? My phone has precious space!"

What if the guy did have a job? That would be impressive. I think a lot of the people on the forums (especially the youngin's or those in college) don't realize that we have regular jobs that are 40 hours or so a week. We don't have time to put so much effort into something so laborious. Plus, we can't really make our own hours.

I believe I list which gender of shinies I need in my shop for the ones with differences. Events are fun, but now I'm just super suspicious. Hacking takes a lot of the fun out of it. I can see why some people are so pressed to see proof.

I remember seeing an article on Kotaku about a guy who spent two years catching and breeding all of his own shinies. A unique shiny dex. Sounds quite exhausting.

I'd really appreciate your help, and everything's always fair game for you in my shop. Although, with recent Gen III events hacking, I'm going to go through and vet my lists, so I'd recommend events Gen IV or above.

Yeah, the sense of accomplishment's not completely there because we trade and clone so much that it's just adding another feather in our cap. For that one person who caught every available shiny themselves, more power to them, but I don't got time for that.

Yeah, I go through phases of wanting to catch the shinies myself, but it comes and goes. I love the thrill of finally getting one, but I hate wading through all of the crap to get there. Plus, now when I see a shiny I'm hunting for I don't normally go "yay!" It's more of a "Thank the f-ing lord for f's sake. That was the worst s--t ever." Pokemon and I have an interesting relationship.

I really like both Shellos shiny formes. They're subtle palette swaps but really effective. I need to replace older stuff, but I'm more focused on gender differences and just completing the dex before I start heavily going through my list and figuring out anything that's even remotely a hack.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just a more involved technique with a fixed chance. I just hated when I'd lose focus and my hand would slip. It's disheartening even if it doesn't affect the chances. Good job getting the Slakoth and Sewaddle, though!
