ya that is worth it. just make sure you go back to pal park even if you don't use it. Because if you do decide to use it and you haven't went back to reset the time when you now want to use it, it will make you wait 24 hours.

stuff like this happens.
When you put your ds game in another ds i know that it messes with the time for the pal park transfers. Once you get your ds working, or a working ds that is yours, make sure you go to the pal park just so that it knows that you played the game in another ds and let it reset its 24 hour wait before you can transfer pokemon

Your Pal code will permanently change, that's all.
