  • Sounds like me haha. I'm saving up to move out in the summer since I'm tired of living away from school and friends and such. Plus it'll be easier to spend time with my boyfriend. School is kicking my ass and I hate it as usual.
Like I said, it's scary. :( I hate that people think feminism just benefits females. Like um no lol.

Also, glad to see you around again. How have you been?
Just the other day, I was walking to the music hall for a recital and I was wearing a shortish dress and nice red heels, but I was absolutely terrified that some guy would cat call me or something. I don't think everyone realizes how scary that is. As much as I feel I shouldn't have to adhere to certain clothing rules, it's still worrisome walking alone like I was even though it was a few blocks. Walking by guys like you mentioned while wearing what I was wearing would make me nervous. :( I didn't dress like that for anyone but me. It's a cute dress and I like my heels. It's awful to think there are people that would have looked at me and assumed that I was dressed like that to attract male attention. What a world we live in.
I agree with you. I personally can't relate to those kinds of feelings at all. I'm not interested in sex (which people seem to take as me not knowing a thing about it and/or being disgusted by it, and that's definitely not the case) so I don't and never will understand peoples' fixation on checking out random people they don't know and having sex with them. It's foreign to me. But I still feel like it's something you shouldn't express in the way he ended up doing. :/
It's really disappointing to see that on PC, because I generally find it a pretty progressive thinking forum...but then again, I live in Alabama so anyone that's for gay rights alone I'm like "WOW UNCOMMON!" I haven't even looked in the feminism thread because no one actually knows what it is, I'm sure.
Thanks, I mean, I figured a lot of that.

We'll have to see. At this point I'm pretty numb either way.
Actually, I've never frequented /mu/ ever haha. I only go there if I'm desperate to find a leaked album. We did however migrate from a now dead dark hole.

Yeah, I tend not to listen to Radiohead all that often anymore either. Their music's even more enjoyable when you return to it from time to time. I find myself coming back the most to Kid A funnily enough, that or In Rainbows.

Heh, we're the hippest ♥♥♥♥♥s on the block. Seriously? New music still excites me so much, the new stuff these days is so diverse and different, that is if you listen to the right stuff, I guess.

Ahh, Matt dragged me onto RYM. It's a real nice platform. https://rateyourmusic.com/~soulscream Here's mine, if you're interested. I take a lot of listens to rate stuff...

South-Africa was magnificent, I went there for a month to "study" English even though I didn't really learn too much new stuff. I did get more confident in my English speaking since it was the longest period of time I've spoken English, ever and that by a landslide. I mainly went there to see a new part of the world and to have a break from the everyday life over here in Belgium. I had to do some soul searching and I succeeded greatly in South-Africa. Now it's just a matter of applying my new ideas and experiences to this life.
http://www.pokecommunity.com/member.php?u=458320 You should talk to Matt, he's my music buddy and Grace is his all-time favourite album. I'm sure you'd get along.

Kid A's definitely in my top 10 ever as well. Radiohead themselves are the one band I can safely call my favourite band ever. I adore everything they do and have done (well mayeb Pablo Honey not, but let's just ignore that album).

My top actually doesn't change that much. They're definitely the albums I can always safely return to for a blast of a time.

As for what I'm listening to right now, mainly 2014 albums. I have a lot to catch up with since I was in South-Africa for a month and a lot of albums are leaking this week for some reason. I've been really impressed with the new Cloud Nothings and EMA records, they're awesome.

Do you have a RYM account?
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Work's been insane lately.

Better, I think... I have no idea. She's talking again, but I haven't seen her. She assures me she wants to and things are hectic, but yeah...
Oneirology's been on my to listen to list for a while. Sadly enough that list is huge, doesn't help I have a to revisit list as well...

My top 3 albums? Let's see...
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West
    OK Computer by Radiohead
    Laughing Stock by Talk Talk

Those are my 3 solid choices.

    How about you?
I am at work, but there isn't much to do so I have to fill my time with something.
