I've asked, twice, why the Youkai chose to make their realm ugly compared to the human one, what with the dead trees you mentioned and the fact that they created it themselves.
I also asked whether I'm good on the posting front, as I wrote Eva's portion of Zero's latest post. Elene would be doing something, but she has no NPCs to interact with in regards to the poisoned food. I understand that people, for some reason, see it as the player's job to fill in the setting with them, but I've found that it helps flesh out the setting if the GM can actually provide information for the inhabitants of the world without OOC exposition.; Plus, it provides something for players to do when their character isn't stupidly attempting to attack an immensely powerful older Youkai that mutilated half of the staff.
